My name slips past Alexis's lips.
"Hahaha, Alexis I see you couldn't even protect the woman you love. How pathetic."
Ravens vulgar laugh seems to take up all of the silence.
It's crude and terrifying.
I clutch the book to my chest. Edging towards Alexis.
As soon as I'm close. I run to him. Hiding behind him.
Raven continues to mock him.
Vile cruel words shoot through the room.
"Alexis we need to get to the hidden room."
He glances at me briefly. As he guides me backwards.
Keeping me behind him. Sword pointed towards raven.
Till I'm backed up against. A bookcase on the wall.
He slowly reached his hand up. And pulled a book beside me down.
Gears grind and we and the wall turned.
