It was almost perfect.
Everything seemed to melt away.
That is. Until we separate.
All seems okay at first. Then He leans over and coughs violently into his hands.
Blood splatters. He breathes unevenly.
"Alexis!" By now I'm screaming at the top of my lungs and Tanaka has rushed in.
He weakly smiles and waves him off. "I'm fine. This is nothing. I know what he meant. But you shouldn't worry about."
He says these words and passes out. Tanaka takes him to his room.
I hurry behind him.
I help Tanaka with whatever he needs. When I ask what happened.
"Poison. Dragmio. It doesn't affect humans."
I sigh but then continue "But I'm not completely human..."
"I know, that's why you should rest too. It probably will affect you a little too."
"You knew?"
"Everyone in this house knows. That you are the Count's childhood friend and that you are the daughter of our beloved Alexandra."
