Ruien's POV
I don't know if this is the right decision, but I agreed to remain normal, like nothing happened. I have to keep my words.
I wore my usual outfit and applied some light make up.
Upon arriving the coffee shop, I could smell the fragrant of the Bee Hoon. There was a sudden craving for Bee Hoon , so I had no choice but to choose Bee Hoon over Chicken Rice.
His, however, was just plain chicken shredded porridge. This is unusual, he usually doesn't eat plain stuff.
"Why are you eating just plain porridge?"
I asked.
"Slight stomachache out of a sudden."
He gave a slight smile.
"Theres a medicine shop just opposite. I'll got get some stuff that'll help."
The concerns, again and again, it never stops. Everytime something happens to him, my concern towards him is more than "Just Friends".
Elvin's POV
"Wait! You don't.. have to."
Before I could finish my sentence, she already ran off.
Few minutes later, she came back.
"Hi... I'm... back."
Shw said, panting heavily.
"Why are you so tired? Isn't the shop just few metres away?"
"Its closed. The next... nearest one is few blocks.. away, I didn't want... you to wait ....too long for me, so I jogged there."
Catching breath in every few words she said.
"You didn't have to trouble yourself, you know? The pain isn't unbearable, its okay to just let it be.."
I looked at her, so touched by her actions.
"Its okay."
She smiled.
"Eat up. Your lunch and dinner is on me."
"Its f.."
I cutted off her sentence,
"Shhhh. Its a deal. Eat up."
I grabbed a spoonfull of rice and plaxed it infront of her mouth, she ate and then took control over the spoon.
Did I just feed her?
"I'll sent you home."
I said.
I pressed the button for the lift door to open, but looked up only to find "Lift currently under maintenance, Sorry for the inconvenience caused."
"WHAT?"
She exclaimed.
"What a lucky day! Guess we have to take the stairs."
"But I'm not living on the second, third, fourth or fifth floor. I'm living at the twelve floor for god sake."
"Take it as exercise I guess."
I started climbing up the stairs.
"Wait, you're going up with me?! You're gonna have to go down again!"
"Its okay. Take it as exercise."
"But.."
"No buts,"
I placed my finger over her lips.
"Save your talking energy and use it to climb stairs."
I winked.
We started climbing up, skipping every 2 steps.
We reached the 7th floor and we were panting heavily.
"Can we rest for awhile?"
She said.
"5 more stories. I can piggy back you if you want."
I smirked.
"I doubt your arms's ability."
"Hmm? You don't believe me?"
"Yeap."
"Then I shall prove that you're wrong."
I swept her up bridal style and rushed up the stairs.
Peircing screams and slapping sounds could be heard during the proccess.
"LEEET MEEEE DOWNNN." *screams* *whacks me on the shoulder and arm*
"LET ME DOWN AT THIS INSTANT. ELVIN NG!"
she screamed.
I just wanted to make her stop hitting me , scaring her by pretending I was about to throw her down. At that instant, she put both her arms around my neck and screamt.
We were closer ; physically.
I manage to climb to the Tenth Foor before I put her down.
"Gentle abit more can? My nerves are actually working , really hurts."
I rubbed my shoulder.
"Why did you carry me in the first place?! I didn't even agree to it."
"Okay. Sorry.. I shouldn't have cross the line."
Her anger vanished. The expression from her eyes isn't anger anymore.
She started climbing up the stairs.
We've reached the twelve floor then her door step.
I don't know what came over me, I hugged her, very tightly.
"Thanks and Sorry."
I said.
She was in silence neither did she return the hug.
I released her and walked away.
I don't know if I did the right thing, but I know it felt good, real good.
