We about to set this bitch on fire

Wednesday, October 20th

Nope, nope and nope. But good morning big head. -Chres

I give up then, but good morning fatass. -Mel

I laughed lightly at her. She literally listed every girls name that went to our school expect hers.

It's been over a month since Mel and I've been talking. I can only say it's going oh so well.

Today was basketball try outs for girls. And I knew Melanie was nervous, but she was also great, so I knew she would at least make a team. I was thinking about trying out for basketball myself since the last time I played was when I was a freshman. I made Junior Varsity, not bad. Then I stopped because I wanted to focus on football more. Of course I still practiced, but not as much as I did with football. I wanted to fulfill my last year with everything I could possibly do. This school will be painted with the name Chresanto August every fucking where.

I got up out of my bed stretching. I had no clue what to wear. I just knew I needed to look fly. I walked to my closet looking at every outfit I had soon choosing my gray joggers with a white t shirt. I grabbed some socks and walked downstairs to make a bowl of cereal because my grandma wasn't up making it this morning. I finished around 6:30 leaving me plenty of time to wash my face, brush my teeth and to freshen up my hair. I had about 15 minutes just to check my homework over before grabbing my keys and leaving out the door.

--

"Hey Chres." Ashely and Aston the twins said in unison. They were really cute, but Ashely looked a little better. I use to have a huge crush on her when I was a freshmen, but that was when I wasn't shit, but a lightskin nigga.

"Hey Ashely and Aston." I smiled to them causing them to smile back. I walked off to my locker after that. I opened it pulling out my science book and economics book shutting it hard absentmindedly. Seeing no one other then Mel.

"Boo," she said wiggling her fingers and sticking her tongue out. "Did I scare you?"

"No, I don't get scared," I said pointed out in a matter a fact tone. "But what's up?" I asked her.

"Basketball. That's what's up."

"What's up with it? You nervous," I teased a bit to little up the mood since a thick cloud of tense reached the mist of the air.

"Sort of, but I'm trying not to think to much about it," she said truthfully. "What's up with you?"

"I was think-"

RINGGGGGGG

"Ight I'm going to get to class, but tell me later okay." She stood on her tip toes to kiss my cheek scurrying to her first period class after, as I just turned the corner swiftly walking to Economics. My cheeks crimsoned thinking about the small peck she gave me on the cheek. Just one of her cute gestures that makes her even badder.

"You may sit next to Mr. August, August raise your hand." I rose my hand as a slightly dark figure walked towards me. He looked oddly familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it.

"What's up, I'm Jason." He put his fist out for me to bump it, and that's when it clicked. Jason, Jason Mel's ex-boyfriend.

"What's up I'm Chresanto."

"Oh yea I remember you. You're the one that was out with my girl."

"Your girl?" I questioned raising a eyebrow. "I think I can say she's mine now." I smirked a bit.
