A Day out

"I don't know anything... Tum chal Rahi ho matlab chal Rahi ho ; I don't want any excuses.."

Mukti shouted from one end of the phone.

"But I won't get permission" replied Nandini bit irritated and in a low tone.

"Listen nandini you also know and I also know that no one will stop you from coming because you hardly go anywhere except the firm so please stop giving this stupid excuse and if you wish I can talk to Aunty."

Mukti very angrily shouted on Nandini.

Nandini had no other option other than to say yes and of course she knew it very well that no one will stop her from going so she agreed for the outing..!!

On the other hand Mukti kept her phone down n hugged Navya while shouting "yesssssss she is coming she is coming yessssss... Finally ..!!!"l

Both Navya and Mukti were really happy that Nandini said yes for the outing because they both knew whatever happend 7 months before was still there in her mind and she was get not able to get normal although she tried her best to do so.

She then picked up her phone and dialled a number..

"Hello... Haan she said yes..! Wo aa Rahi hai finally. Theek hai ok.. Haan haan hum time par aa jayenge . Ok bye.. Arre thanks baad mein bolna pehle Kaam poora to hone do. Ok bye "

Nandini dressed herself up in simple jeans top and was looking at herself in the mirror when suddenly she gazed at her own face and started to recollect when did she last went for an outing with her friends.

Suddenly some glimpse of a meeting came in front of her eyes where she was talking , laughing and clicking selfies with someone. She closed her eyes and held her head with both her hands.

" nahi nahi nahi... No Nandu you will not recollect those days ; nahi no..!! "

And again started adjusting her clothes and arranged her purse.

After 10 mins door bell rang..!

"Nanduuuuu Mukti hai..!!"
Her mom said from outside.

"haanji madam ... Waahhhh Kya baat hai on time .. Good" ; Mukti happily said .

" ohh madam I am always on time ; par tum ye batao achanak se ye outing ka program kyun..??" Nandini asked

"Bas aise hi.. it's been ages we we have spent good time yaar. Come on, we don't need excuses for going out." Mukti exclaimed..

"Ya ya .. I know..!" Nandini stated.

"Tum apni bakwaas band karo Aur chalo bas late ho raha hai." Mukti said jumping on her place.

"Haan haan ok. par hum ja Kahan rahe hain..?" Nandini asked her while she stopped her from jumping.

Mukti excitedly said "marine drive".

Hearing her Nandini was surprised. She in a baffled tone asked her "whatttt...?? Marine drive..?? But wahan kyun..?? I have never been there.. And it's too far."

Mukti nodded her head in disbelief and replied "haan to hum aaj chalenge na waise bhi mausam dekho kitna aacha ho raha hai.. Romantic types . Wahan aise hi mausam mein to Maza aata hai. Aur drive mujhe krna hai tumhe nhi to just relax and ab chalo."

Both Nandini and Mukti after few mins left from the house in Mukti's car.

After 10 mins of drive they reached Navya's house and gave a call on her cell from outside.

She looked out from her window and disconnected the call .

Navya took her bag and came running down. Soon they were on road heading towards Marine Drive.
