LAST CHAPTER 

  

Manik did accept this from her. Nandini was hurt and he was the reason behind her hurt ; not once but twice. He did not knew what to do or say to her to win her back. But he just wanted her back. Now all his hopes were on the one day left with him. All he could do was to wish and pray that Nandini forgives him for the last time. 

Manik again went to the place the next day. He kept on waiting for her but there was just no sign of her. He wanted to call her but then he remembered that he said to her that he has not asked her to come rather he has just said that he will wait for her over there.

It was almost dusk and Nandini didn't turned up. Manik lost his battle. He was paying for his actions. He left her when he wanted to be with him and now when he wanted Nandini ; it was too late. Manik's all hopes came crumbling down . He realised his mistake was bigger than he himself was thinking . Manik was defeated and decided to go back.

"Manik..!" ; Manik stopped as soon as he heard his name from the same voice that he that heard over thousands time. Manik turned around to see Nandini standing there. Manik's happiness had no level. He was more than happy to see her there. He rushed towards her which made his breath heavy. "Nandini... Thanks...!!! Thanks a lot for coming... Main... Thank you .. Thanks a lot yaar..!!" Manik's voice had happiness. The face which few moments ago was all pale was now glowing with happiness. Both were looking at each other. Manik's happiness was clearly visible on his face but Nandini's face was all straight. She was just looking at him with no expressions.


Before Manik could say anything further Nandini straight way asked him ; "Manik ; give me one reason to let you come back and to trust you all over again." 

Manik held Nandini's arm and said ; "Nandini I promise I won't repeat my mistakes again please trust me Nandini ; I won't leave you now chahe jo ho jaye I won't .. Never ; trust me."

"Kaise Manik ..?? Kaise trust Karu main tumhe..? 7 Saal pehle bhi tumne ek baar bhi mere baare mein nahi soocha and 7 mahine pehle it was just unbelievable Manik.. kaise trust karu main tumhe..??" Nandini said freeing herself from his hand and tears in her eyes. Manik just kept looking her. Tears were rolling down her cheeks and eyes glued on Manik's face.

 "Manik main Aur suffer nahi kar sakti. I can't take this all any more all over again. Maine 7 Saab tak Khud ko tumse door rakha taki tum khush Raho ; you and Alya should remain happy. Tumne to ek baar bhi roka nahi tha mujhe Manik when I decided to walk away. You had chosen your love over our friendship Manik. Aur 7 mahine pehle bhi tumne jo kiya ; I jut couldn't imagine this all from you. And when now I was trying to be all fine ; tum phir se...!!! Manik main Aur pain nahi le sakti please.. I just can't.!!" Nandini was crying really heavily and said everything what was actually making her stay away from Manik.


"Manik main ..!!" Nandini started over again but then suddenly Manik kept his one hand on her mouth and the other hand back of her neck and pulled her towards himself.

 Nandini banged her head on his chest. He kissed her hair and said "Shhhhh..!! Quiet ..!! Bassss..!! Don't say anything..!! Quiet.." Manik kissed her her hair once again and started rubbing her back gently. 

Nandini who by now was standing still and crying while hiding her face in his chest ; wrapped her arms around him and said ; "Manik tum phir mujhe chod doge I know . Tum wapas se chale jaoge . You will leave me again."

"I won't leave you this time...! Main kahin jaaunga. Our friendship till will never end never fade." Manik softly replied in Nandini's ear by lowering his face and kissed her temple. Nandini was still crying.
