Chapter title : Parental Visits Part 2 ❤

UNEDITED.

Still In Angelina's POV;

Of course it was my father Aaron. I pull away from my mother staring hard at my dad, hes stern face was set as always but then he cracked a smile.

"Hello my Angelina," He greets.

"Dad." I grin not sure whether to embrace him or stand and hunch awkwardly.

My dad comes forward wrapping one arm around my shoulder leading me down the long passageway. I glance up at the family pictures still on display. I use to stare at them all the time when i lived here.

"So nice of you to visit." My father states.

"Its been a while." I whimper in a low voice.

"Months to be exact" My mum chips in.

I felt to ask why they hadn't bothered to come and visit me but thought better of it.

We reach the dinning hall and I settle in a chair at the table.

"Lucky enough I've cooked a roast for which il bring you some." My mum tells me before heading out the room.

A roast sounded amazing, I could almost hear my stomach churning.

"How you been dad." I ask.

He moves to a comfy rocking chair and picks up a half burnt cigarette butt.

"Been swell, not doing much but relaxing."

For about a year or two my parents have been retired, just living life, doing all the things they've ever wanted to do.

"Sounds stress free, compared to me." I breath.

My dads face suddenly looks concerned.

"Is everything okay?" He asks in slight panic.

"Yeah I mean works stressful and long but I'm coping."

"That's good your coping." He replies.

The microwave stops causing a silence to surround us.

Where is this roast at, was my thought.

"Have you seen Lulu recently." My dad enquires.

"I have recently, loads." I smile.

My dad smirks, looking in space.

"Have you?" I question.

"A little."

At that moment mum returns with a steaming plate of delicious lunch, sliced turkey, potatoes, veg and a huge Yorkshire pudding. Gravy was literally spilling off the plate.

"Wow thanks." I beam.

Mum smiles placing napkins and a knife and fork beside it.

"Your really welcome." Mum answers.

I feel a pang of regret not bringing flowers or a small gift with me, i would for sure do that next time.

My mum goes to the window opening it up, this was on queue for my dad who lights up a cigarette.

"Id rather you move to the window Aaron, Cant you see Angy is eating ." My mum tells him.

"Its fine, its alright." I say in between mouthfuls.

The food is disappearing too quickly for my liking.

When my mother's done faffing around she settles in a chair beside dad.

Turning on a small TV they have in the corner.

"So mother, hows things?" I question.

"Oh so fine Angy, I've missed you sweetie."

I swallow my mouthful fast choking up.

"Oh sweetie il bring you a juice." My mum says hurrying out the room.

I wipe my eyes clearing my throat. I cant take my mother dropping words like I miss you on me when she and dad have never showed much affection in the first place. It was time I tell them of Lulu's party and get going.

When my mother returned I gulped down my drink finishing up lunch, I was full to the brim and as much as I wanted to leave my over filled body wouldn't allow it, so decided on a little detour.

"Mother, father may I be excused to see my old room?"

There was a silence, my parents exchanging glances, looks that spoke much louder then words.

"I think that would be fine." Mum says.

I shrug smile getting up slow, woaww I was full to the brim. I take my stuff to the kitchen setting it on the side, It feels like being at home all over again. Except without Lulu of course. So i climb the stairs reaching the top, My bedroom was the first door, I held the handle pushing it open and making my way inside, a warm stuffy air hits me as if the room hadn't had a look in or even been aired.

It was how I had left it, empty, nothing in sight. I had taken everything with me to my place.

I move to the window deciding to open it, I tried to budge it but nothing. It had been locked. Shrugging to myself I make my way downstairs to get on with what I was actually here for.
