"Where's Jake?" Sarai asked, panicked. It had taken months for the Queen to figure out where to send Jake.
"His deal?" The Queen replied.
"Sarai, you should go back. I'm going to be taken away, but you'll see me again one day." One day. She took him away from me.
Sarai glared at the Queen. "Where is he?" Sarai said through gritted teeth.
"He ended up choosing where he went, and he didn't tell a soul." The Queen admitted. "But he did threaten me, and I do have to keep my end of the bargain, so you will be Queen next."
That hurt Sarai. Why would Jake barter with her so that she could be Queen? He sacrificed himself for me. He would've died for me if he had the chance.
