Hey I'm back, fellow Disney nerds! LOL!!! It's time for magic! *Throws Pixie Dust at yo face*
Ever heard of a 1993 movie called 'Cool Runnings'? Or ever heard of a Jamaica bobsled team? No? Than you need to do some research! *Throws more pixie dust*
Okay enough pixie dust, time to get real. I won't blame you for not hearing about this movie, frankly I haven't eather until late January of this year. And if you're a Disney freak like me, ;) , I check the Wikipedia on list of Walt Disney films all the time and I never saw Cool Runnings on their. Once my parents put the movie on the Blu Ray player, we borrowed the movie from a friend, I went on the internet looking for it and gosh! Their it was Cool Runnings.
I love this movie personally. I love the characters, the cast, the gags, the true Disney theme and it's a feel good movie that only Disney can top!
Cool Runnings is a loosely based on the true story of the Jamaica national bobsled team's debut at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Alberta. It stars Leon Robinson, Doug E. Doug, Malik Yoba, Rale D. Lewis, and John Candy.
I'm going on a limb and guess but I think the reason why no one heard of this movie was because the movie didn't meet profit and didn't do well in theaters.
That's my guess. But all in all, wish people would give respect to older movies that seemed to be forgotten.
