After saying what I needed to say to Dixon I turned and faced his best friend David. "This," I swirled my finger up in the air in a circular motion, "Never Happened."

I was trying to tell him I NEVER wanted to hear about this incident for the rest of my life.

I looked back at Dixon, he had hurt me.

He cheated on me with not one but TWO women he doesn't even know. I get it, guys get crazy at bachelor parties, but who's to say he hasn't been doing this the entire time we've been talking.

I shook my head, "I'm going to get ready for our wedding, if you still want to get married you know where to find me."

And just like that I left his apartment.

I wouldn't cry.

No, I wouldn't give him that satisfaction, even if he didn't know about it, I wouldn't waste my tears on a heartless jerk.

All the way home my bestfriends words played in my head...
"he's as love-less as his last name."

I got to my house and wanted to just run up to my room, but the house was decorated and people were already there.

All I knew was marrying this jackass was the last thing I wanted to be doing today, BUT I wouldn't be the one to break our parents hearts.

Our mothers had put a lot of time into this wedding and our fathers were over the moon that we had finally found someone in each other, his father Duke's health even seemed to improve upon hearing about our engagement.

I went through the acts of getting ready mindlessly.

Everyone happily fussed over me but I was in a trance, this isn't how a girls suppose to be on her wedding day.

Everything should be emotional and exciting, but right now I just wanted this whole day to be over and done with.

When the time came I walked down the stairs and met up with my dad.

"Lilliana, you look so beautiful baby girl."

I smiled a genuine smile at my father.

"You ready?" He asked as he held his arm out to me.

"He's here?"

"Dixon arrived while you were getting dressed. I hope you won't mind their sunglasses in all of your wedding pictures though."

I rolled my eyes, of course his hangover wouldn't permit him to be without his sunglasses. But what did I care, it's not like this marriage actually meant anything to me anymore.

We walked down the aisle and I pasted on a huge bridal smile. I looked everywhere but at Dixon, I knew if I did I wouldn't make it down the aisle.

When we reached him my dad was suppose to place my hand into Dixon's but instead I grabbed Dixon's arm much like I had just done with my father.

Holding hands is sweet and loving, arm holding is formal. Dixon and I would be formal from here on out.

Our officiant began the ceremony but Dixon and I had decided to go with traditional vows.
