Hi! :)
So, here's chapter three and I'm sorry for the late update but well, I always have to make sure that every chapter is perfect before I actually do publish them. And thank you, all of you for every vote and comment, your awesome comments are the reason why I keep writing and enjoy writing it. Thank you!
And the chapter is seven pages long? I'm going to pat myself on the back for that.

Two weeks had passed by now after my successful attempt at escaping him. It were exactly two weeks ago where I last had seen those hazel eyes of his that were haunting me now ever since I first had met him. Still, his features, his strongly defined jaw, high cheekbones that were covered with a light layer of stubble on it and his full plump lips were so vivid and fresh in my memory that I always had to blink a few times to brush off the image of him and the fright that threatened to shot through my veins whenever I thought about him being near me again.
The paranoia of mine was constantly there, causing me to look around me every few minutes just to make sure that he was not lurking in the depths of the darkness, waiting for me. My brother noticed that too, his usual protective and concerned self was throwing questions after question at me but I dodged them easily, saying that I was just trying to adjust living normally again.
It was confusing, knowing that only weeks ago, a man was practically following your every movement and the next moment, he disappears as if he never had been there in the first place, as if the imagination of mine was just trying to play with me. But I knew that this was not the case, I still remember every word, every touch and most importantly, the note he had left me and that was exactly the last sign I had gotten from him.
Within those two weeks I had spent my time constantly being on alert mode, afraid of him appearing so suddenly again like he had vanished that quick, there actually was something that took my mind off of him for a while. Something, one thing that caused happiness to swirl through my body as my lips would curl up into a genuine smile.
Carter, my brother, was finally not watching over me whenever I was at home, spending his time with his little sister non stop that much anymore. In fact, he had been going out more often, meeting his old friends while making new ones in the process, that was what he had told me. The glint in his eyes I had been missing to see was finally starting to come back slowly, and I was more than happy that he finally started living his own live again, without having me as a constant burden anymore.
I was so relieved to see him coming back to his old self slowly because I had missed my old brother so much. Not only did seeing my brother becoming more busy with his friends and old life bring some normality in my life again, the extra shifts I did on Starbucks were helping me as well to keep my minds off of everything that had happened so far which had kept me locked up in the house for five months in the first place.
A sigh left my parted lips as I made my way back into the kitchen, holding a tablet full with used dishes securely in my hands as people walked past me. Once in the kitchen where Mrs. Thompson was busily preparing the desserts, I set the tablet on a counter and made my way back to register as I heard several voices entering the already busy little coffee shop. With one glance around the full shop, I looked up to the register to see all of the orders lined up down on it and began getting the drinks ready.
"Chloe, could you please clean up table four?" I nodded at Aden, who was too busy to take notice of my response as he tried to catch up with all of the orders as he prepared their drinks.
