    My eyes, as much as they burned due the lack of sleep, fluttered open again. And for a second, everything seemed to be the same. From the sleepless nights to the days filled with loneliness.

     In the distance, the sound of birds chirping could be heard as the sunlight with the sun rising upon the morning sky slowly shone through the closed windows, making the lifeless room more visible for me. It was the same. From the nights I spent mostly wide awake, no trace of tiredness within me as the wariness of mine did not increase at all, it seemed to be just like any other day for me.

       Though only as I made a move to get up on the bed, something tightened its grip on my waist and I was being pulled into something hard, yet invitingly warm. A steady, hot breathing fanned the tape of my neck, alerting me that whoever was holding me, was way too close for my liking. My breathing stilled instantly as I squinted my eyes shut for a few seconds to try and regain my breathing again. Opening them unwillingly again to face the matter at hand, I took a sneak down at where a tanned and very muscled arm was dropped over waist, holding my stiff figure securely under their grip. My heart began to race since I had a pretty good idea at who the person could be.

       Trying to recall the events from the previous night, nothing came to my mind as I had spent the late hours all by myself, lost in the depths of my thoughts like I always did lately till somewhere in the middle of the night, I would drift off to sleep.

      Hesitantly, a trembling hand reached out to get a hold of the arm over my waist. Under my tiny hand, I could feel the many scars printed on the person's arm and upon a closer look, a shaky breath left my lips at the many cuts covering the arm. As gently as I could, I wrapped my fingers around the arm and began to lift it up. Though as my grip tightened on the arm on instinct as I went to lift it, whoever that was holding seemed to notice and not like it all as their rough hand found mine, interlacing our hands and pulling me back against their chest.

        "Stay," I closed my eyes at the deep, intimidating voice that haunted me in my dreams ever since and struggled to keep myself all calm and collected. As I tried to get my breathing even and my racing heart under control again, I felt him nuzzle his face in the crook of my neck from behind, inhaling deeply. My free hand gripped onto the silky sheets for dear life, as if they would save me once that monster behind me would lose his temper on me.

         "I like this," he whispered as his lips moved against the skin of my neck, causing me to shiver. "Waking up next to you." Then, I felt something soft adding slight pressure on my neck, and it took everything in me not to jolt upward and run for my life right there and then as his lips touched my skin.

        Keep calm, Chloe and remember the plan. 

        Though as many times as I did convince myself that once he would think that I liked him, maybe even loved him back, the chances to escape him would be much more likely, there were still many things going through my head which doubted that all of this could work out.

       Would this, all of this really work out? Still feeling wary as his breathing fanned my neck, I was somewhat lost in my thoughts. According to Tristan, all of this would be going as smoothly as putting on shoes. His words, definitely not mine. As long as all of us went along with the perfectly planned plan, nothing would go wrong in my brother's opinion.
