     According to Dallas, it had been about a week and a half since the incident. I did not know it myself and couldn't because the room I was kept in, had no windows so there was no way for me to see how the colours of the clear blue sky were slowly melting together whenever dawn or the sunrise came around. For a person who loved the sun, the clear blue sky and to feel the cool breeze sweeping over my skin softly, it was a pure torture to not see anything else than those four walls I was being held captivate in.

     If it hadn't been for Dallas, I for sure knew that I would go insane all of my own. Not only that, but I also would have been dead if it wasn't for her who was constantly by my side. On the orders of him, she stitched my badly wound up from which I had lost a lot of blood. She brought me my food and made sure that I ate at least one meal a day. And even though I had doubts with her at the beginning, she stuck by my side for a few hours and ignored the glares of mine being send her way. And soon enough, it happened. I learned to trust her.

     "I don't want to," I said, pushing the tray with the tips of my fingers away from me on the soft duvet.

     "Sweetie, you have to eat something. You will get weak and the master will be very upset the moment he sees you like this," cringing both at the nickname and her mentioning the very last person I wanted to think of, I shook my head stubbornly.

     "I don't care," I mumbled, starring away from the elderly woman sitting at the edge of the bed. Getting lost in thoughts as to how I had landed in this mess, how my brother was doing, I pulled my legs up to my chest and rested my head on my knees as I closed my eyes to escape the room that only reminded me of that monster. Cringing slightly due the pain that shot through my body from the wound that he had done, I let out a breath and tried to relax again.

     "Please, Chloe, eat. He not only will be upset but mad that I am not doing as to what I have been told to do properly," that was the first time I had heard her voice laced with uneasiness and slight fright. My eyes snapped open and were greeted by a sight I never thought I would see. The once so happy and very nice woman, who was no older than about fifty was starring back at me with tears brimming in the corners of her eyes.

     "What? Why?" I asked confused. I had always seen her as someone who worked close with that monster. That at least she too, was something alike him and not a normal human being like me. How else could she wander around the house so carefree and sometimes, sneak me out so I could get some fresh air? He kindness though, did irritate me and I was very wary of that.

     "In the orders of the master, I have to take care of you for now and make sure that you will heal completely," she said, her voice turning into a sound of pleading as she did so.

     "You are not here on your own will, are you?" I whispered, kind of dreading to hear the answer.

     She shook her head slowly and looked away from me the moment a tiny tear escaped her eyes. It saddened me to see her like that. It had always been like that, whenever I saw that someone was upset, I too would feel the tiniest bit of that feeling swirling within me.

     "He took away my only daughter at the age of eighteen for his own private needs. Not only my baby girl had to endure that torture, but a lot of others had to do that too. That time, the master was very desperate and tired of waiting for the woman that belongs to him and only him so to compete the loneliness he felt, he chose various girls to satisfy him," it had taken me a lot of persuading for her to finally tell me the story as to how she ended up here. She did not want to tell me in order to not scare me away much more from that monster but I wanted to know. I wanted to know how and why she ended up here.
