she kisses so many lips,
i imagine that
her lips are now numb.
the kisses she places on others
are messy,
as if she constantly wants to
erase something.
her eyes are closed,
but her face shows despair,
as if she wants to detach herself
from something, someone.
she never wears lipstick,
like she never wants to leave a mark,
but rather get rid of one.
one by one,
she kisses men who are unknown to her
all on the lips,
and i think to myself,
why does she do this?
oh, i realized, oh.
does she really believe
that you'll go away
if she can no longer feel
the heat of your lips anymore?
