sometimes i wear
my clothes
backwards
to reflect
how i feel inside.
sometimes i wear

because
nothing is right
and
everything is wrong.
sometimes i wear
my clothes
backwards
because my life's seems
to be spiraling downwards
instead of upwards,
because i seem to
keep running into walls
instead of doors,
and because i only
receive disapproving nods
instead of praises.
when nothing goes right,
and i feel as if
i have no control,
i wear my clothes
backwards ;
i head back to bed,
lying facedown,
not getting up,
letting sleep take me over
like it has
for the past few weeks.
