Ellis and Kris separated from Alec and Andy once they got off of the school's property. Andy knew she didn't want to bring more attention to herself and her relationship with her Step-brother. She'd rather stick with their plan of possibly moving out of this town to somewhere else.
Alec glanced down at Andy as they both walked with their backpacks on their backs, their feet stomped against the stone path of the park they had decided to go to. Other people walked pass them here and there but other than that they were alone.
Kris's words rang in Andy's head while she watched the cracks on the stone trail; "Just standby us and we could start a movement like same sex marriage."
Andy knew no one not even someone insane would vote yes to family marriage but, it wasn't her problem..... She didn't need to worry about it.
She leaned into Alec and wrapped both her arms around his right forearm.
He smiled down at her. "We are free."
Andy grinned. "Yes we are."
