End of the class. Dismissal. Yay.

Happiness. Now, all I need to do is go home and eat pizza until tomorrow. "Hey Jillian, wanna come over? I'm gonna order pizza."

"No thank you, I have a date." Jillian answered.

"On a Monday evening?" I asked in disbelief.

"Yes."

"Your boyfriend's unique." I told her.

"Of course. That's why I love him." Jillian agreed.

"But he's in college."

"And we're gonna be in college next year so it's worth the wait." Jillian reasoned.

Evan Smith is Jillian's boyfriend. They got together when Jillian was Junior and Evan was Senior. Their love story is cheesy and I really envy Jillian for getting a boyfriend like Evan. I mean, Evan's sweet, caring, loving, honest, and really attractive. Just his chestnut brown hair and ocean blue eyes would make girls fall for him. He's like... perfect. Though, he's not really my type but I can still say he's perfect.

"Whatever you say. Anyway have fun in your date. Don't forget to use condoms." I reminded her.

She looked at me with a shocked expression. "Reagan Hilary Clarkson!"

"You're welcome." I told her as I ran away. I could tell she's annoyed. But what are best friends for? For annoying each other.

I walked towards the school parking lot and went inside my car. I called my uncle who works at my favorite pizza place and waited for him to answer.

"Reagan. It's been a while. What are you ordering?" My uncle greeted.

"Uncle Toby! Well, the house would be very boring because my parents are on a business trip so I'm gonna order the usual." I answered.

Uncle Toby chuckled. "How many boxes?"

"Three."

"Alright. Is that all?"

"Yes." I confirmed.

"Okay. See you, then." Uncle Toby said.

"Okay, bye." I said as I ended the call.

When I arrived at my house and parked my car, I saw another car parked beside mine. Strange. Is it mom's new car? I hadn't seen that car before. Is it dad's? But that's impossible! They're on a business trip. Jeez, there might be a killer inside my house.

I entered my house carefully, preparing for a criminal snatching our things. But there's no one inside except me. Am I hallucinating? Or just being weird?

When I entered the kitchen, I saw a guy standing across me, his back facing me so that means he cannot see me. Panicking, I screamed. Real loud.

"Shit." The guy swore, turning around.

"Xander?" I stared at the guy, shocked.

"Reagan." Xander stated. "It was just you. I thought there was..." He trailed off. "Anyway, I'm here because my parents told me that I had to live here in your house until graduation because my family lived far away and they cannot afford to get a house here. And my mom's actually your mom's best friend. You could call your parents to clarify." He explained.

"I don't care about that shit. You could've told me at lunch. Seriously, you scared the hell out of me." I told him, fuming. And as a matter of fact, I swear a lot whenever I get surprised, mad, or just scared.

"Sorry." He apologized. But I cannot hear any sincerity in his voice. He's a jerk.

"Do you even know where your room is?" I asked him. He cannot go inside my room! It's a complete mess.

"Yes, it's one of the guest room. Your mom told me when I called her. She explained everything so no need to worry." He told me.

"Why do I have to live with you? Plus, my parents are on a business trip for five months. Wait... we're alone for five months?" I burst out. "No. Freaking. Way."

"You don't have to pretend to be shocked." Xander told me calmly. "I know you like it." He said as he went upstairs.

I was too shocked to move a muscle. Is he that cocky? I'm gonna live with an arrogant guy without parental guidance for five months? It's impossible!
