The dogs jumped the fence yelling to the bird,

 "come back here",

but the bird did not listen.

Instead she flew,

for she was free from the

nest, the cage, home.

- Not the best, but oh well ;)

So the dog chased the bird,

saying, "Hey diddle, diddle",

but the bird still ran yelling

"Hey fiddle, fiddle".

So they ran forever yelling

in tune to the old love song,

of the monkey and a buffoon.

- I don't even begin to know how I thought this one up.

The day they saw her,

was the day it all changed.

She was the enemies heir,

she was not what they thought.

They thought her vial and vain.

They thought her greedy and mean,

until they met her, and her beauty.

Then they knew this bird was no crow,

but in fact a raven.

Strong and caged,

yet forgotten so easily,

till others needed blame.

So they took her away,

freed the bird from her cage,

but in doing so they caged the heart,

of the invisible bird.

- Thats the last one for now, but I might come up with some later, also like my other poems, this is mine and no one can copy or take it! If I find out that someone is, I will stop putting my poems on this story. So please, don't steal my work because I really like putting my stuff on here and I want to keep writing these poems for this story, but I won't if someone is just going to steal them.
