You sighed as your newborn baby started crying in the middle of the night once again. You roll out of bed and go into her room. You pick her up and gently rock her. She coos and quiets down. You smile when two arms lazily snake around your waist. Your husband, Ronnie, laid his head on your shoulder.
"Can we please for just this once bring her to bed with us?"
He begs, tiredly.
My poor baby, he hadnt been getting much sleep. He stayed at the studio late and (Y/D/N) kept him up the rest of the time. I turn and nodd.
"Just this once. I think she got used to being in the same room with us when we were in the hospital."
You say.
He gives a tired smile and kisses the now sleeping baby on the forehead. We carefully walk to the bedroom and Ronnie takes her from your arms. He then placed her on his chest. She snuggles closer to him and sighs happily. You pull the blankets up and rest your head on Ronnie's shoulder. He smiles.
"I finally got both of my girls."
He whispers.
You smile.
"And I have two of the most important people in the world."
You say.
He smiles and soon soft snores are escaping his parted lips. You giggle quietly and drift off to sleep. You wouldn't trade your little family for anything in the world.
