You Get A Puppy (Jake Pitts)

  Jake had been bugging you go ages to get a puppy. You had finally have in. So here you are, at a pet shelter looking for a puppy. He was going crazy looking at the many different puppies. You knew that he was going to have a hard time deciding. That's when you heard a yipping from behind you. You turn to find a small Boston Terrier puppy. You knew that was the kind of puppy that Jake was looking for so you pulled the guy to the side and asked him to carry it up front for you. He nodds and smiles. He knew you would be up to pay in a few minutes when Jake got discouraged. Sure enough, Jake soon got discouraged.
    "Well, I guess we should go babe. They don't seem to have the puppy that I was looking at anymore."
He says, a pout on his face.
  You two walk back upfront and he looks at you confused when you walk to the front counter. He follows you though like you tell him. A huge grin spreads across his face when he sees the little puppy in the carrying cage. You loved to see that smile on his face. It made you giddy on the inside. You pay for everything and Jake takes the puppy and walks happily outside. You then had to go to the pet store. You knew that Jake was going to go a little overboard. You decide to stay in the car with the puppy while Jake went inside. He came out a few minutes later with arms full of stuff. You knew that he had went way overboard with things. You knew that he was just excited that you finally said yes to getting a puppy. It took a while for you to actually say yes to his constant begging. You chuckled as he stuffed everything into the backseat and then climbed into the driver's seat.
    "I hope that our little puppy is happy at his new home."
He says, a smile on his face.
    "I'm sure that he will be."
You say.
  Jake nodds and drives in the direction towrds the two of yous house. You finally got there and Jake grabbed the bags from the back while you carried the puppy in the carrier inside. Once you were inside, you opened the door and the little puppy went trampling out. It was really cute. He sniffed around trying to get used to his new surroundings. Jake sat on the floor and the puppy immediately came to him. I smiled and shook my head. I honestly wouldn't change my animal loving man for anyone else.
