"Father Ethan

"Father Ethan..." I muttered under my breath, yet still good enough for Oliver to pick up.

"You mean that delusional man from your village," His eyes narrowed, "has something to do with this" He gestured to the letter.

I slowly nodded. Father Ethan was the only soul that I believe would rat me out to the Kingdom, there must've been a reward or offer of coins for him to do so.
One of the kingdoms knights must've told our village soon after I left, for any strange encounters or mishaps that occur around the place, most likely due to their wolf problem.

Yet, for Father Ethan –who's basically the village leader– to rat me out for living! Makes him unbelievably unworthy to be leading my poor village.

I mean, he was the reason for the female sacrifice for the wolves.

It then occurred to me how sick of a man Father Ethan really was. I knew he purposely picked on the weak for the sacrifices, yet for one to escape without harm, would that not be good fortune?

Now I had to face what ever wrath this Prince had. He had written of a Jester, but what could a fool do to harm us? They were told to be for comedy and laughs in the palace, so to think that one could hurt us was unbelievable.
However, Oliver did mention that most of the Jesters were controlled by dark magic, weather it be by a witch or one of their own, it was widely know to never make contact with those who held magic.

Oliver's arm tightened around me, looking to his face he was just in a deep thought that I had also just been in.
"If this Jester is of dark powers, then how are we to stop it from potentially taking me?" I questioned, yet Oliver remarkably grew a small smile.

"So you do wish to stay?" An amused smile of his face. I was confused of his actions, but then recalled saying not that long ago, that I would leave once I had found a suitable place.

"Off topic, but If that would be ok with you, then yes. I believe this place is better for Andrew then anywhere else, he can grow to be a fine strong man. As for me," I didn't know what to reply for myself, was I really starting to grow a attraction to him? "I also believe that I fit in well if I kept low and watch over Andrew." Phew
Oliver hummed in reply, likely picking up my somewhat of a lie.

"Well, I do believe you suit this place very well, along with your brother. However, for that dream to come true, we must to eradicate that Prince..."

"Yet that will be near impossible, he's the Prince of our kingdom. He's highly protected by all, no matter his sick game obsessions." I stated.

"I know, that's where the wolves and I come in. If we get that witch, then Prince L.K will be no more than a small, naive little boy with nowhere to run. He'll have no control over the people, his fear in his reign will be gone and hopefully the people will revolt against his sickening games." He explained.
