Parth and Sanyukta were visibly excited on reaching home. Parth had already asked their friends to join them and Vidushi, who was ever ready to party, had been waiting for them to return from Karwar. Only Randhir excused himself as he was supposed to meet a client. He went up to his room, showered and changed into a fresh set of clothes before leaving. "Come back for dinner, we'll wait for you!" Sanyukta yelled out to him. "Don't bother, I may be late!" He said as he was leaving. "Please try to get home a little early, I don't want you to miss the food!" She told him earnestly. Nobody noticed how her face fell as he walked away, she had not counted on his absence during the party.

Before Randhir left Parth brought in the Styrofoam boxes containing the fish and instructed the kitchen helper to clean and cut it

Before Randhir left Parth brought in the Styrofoam boxes containing the fish and instructed the kitchen helper to clean and cut it. With plenty of experience hosting barbeque parties Parth began marinating the fish while Vidushi showed Sanyukta how to make the all-vegetarian appetisers, dips, salads and their dressings to balance off the seafood protein. Sanyukta was looking forward to her first barbeque, never having had the opportunity to be at one before. Their friends began to arrive and started helping so that they could get the party started in time. YoYo and Jignesh got the charcoal grill working while Sahil and Kaustuki helped set up the bar with drinks, ice, garnishes and glassware.

YoYo had brought along some fresh prawns to add to the barbeque menu while Jignesh being a vegetarian remembered to bring  vegetables like corn on the cob, bell peppers and mushrooms which were placed to one side of the grill, away from the seafood

YoYo had brought along some fresh prawns to add to the barbeque menu while Jignesh being a vegetarian remembered to bring  vegetables like corn on the cob, bell peppers and mushrooms which were placed to one side of the grill, away from the seafood. They discovered a bag of french fries in the freezer of the kitchen fridge and had them fried so they could pair them with the grilled food. In a couple of hours the party was in full swing, with YoYo and Sanyukta managing the grill and Parth and Vidushi playing hosts by offering food and drinks to everyone.
