One Night

Chapter 6

It was around lunch time and I really didn't wanna eat anything but I decided why not.

I grabbed a lunch tray and walked to sit down. Lady nor Lucas had A lunch with me so I was alone. I tried to make new friends so I walked over to a table with some people that looked nice. But boy, was I wrong.

"Hi I'm Yazmin, can I sit here?" I smiled

One girl looked up at me and rolled her eyes.

"Who invited the pig?" She asked everyone at the table

People laughed.

"Sorry but there's no room for your size" one girl said

"Oh, ok sorry to bother you. Have a nice day." I started to walk away but felt myself being tripped and I fell face forward into my food.

I saw Asia get up. I didn't know she had A lunch. "Stay away from Lucas fat bitch"

"Have a nice day" one girl mocked my voice and started laughing

"Dumb hoe" one guy said

I looked up at saw them recording me. I felt so embarrassed.

They sat back down and continued laughing and talking.

I got up and wiped my face off and cleaned up the mess I spilled.

I walked to the lunch line again to get another tray of food.

"Damn eating again fattie?" I heard a guy laugh with all his friends.

"No, I just-"

"I didn't really wanna know." He said cutting me off.

"Oh, ok" I had my head down waiting in line while being picked on getting called by the same old names.

When I got to the front of the line the lunch lady didn't give me another tray.

"You already had a tray sweetie. No seconds. NEXT!"

"Wait, I-"

"No seconds. NEXT!" The next person in line pushed me out the way

I sighed and went and sat by myself in the bathroom stall until the bell rung to go to class.

When the bell rung I got up and went to class.

I saw Lady's best friend Destiny was in my class so I went and sat next to her.

"Hi, I'm Yazmin" I smiled.

"Um, hi?" She didn't even look up from her phone.

"Well, your friend Lady has been really nice to me"

"Mhm." She didn't even seem interested.

"Did you wanna talk about it?" I ask.

It seemed like something was bothering her.

"Can you just get away from me? I don't even know you." She caught an attitude.

"Oh, I'm sorry, we'll have a nice day" I gave her a small smile before walking over to my desk.

I felt a chair being pulled from under me as I was about to sit down. I fell on the floor and hurt my arm really bad. It started bleeding. But I just shook it off and got up hearing the class's laughter. Including Destiny.

I sat back down pulling my chair up and I began to take notes.

Class was over and I walked alone to my last period.
