Today was Saturday and today was the day of Lady's party and also the day we met her parents.
"Are you sure this is the right house?" My aunt asked as she drove around confused.
We were driving around in a neighborhood that looked like rich people lived in. It had really big houses. It was nice.
"Yes you just passed it again"
"Ok ok" she pulled up to this big brick house and it was so beautiful from the outside.
My aunt parked and we both got out and went up to the door and I rung the doorbell.
A little girl that looked a lot like Lady answered the door.
"Who are you?"
"Get away from the door Taylor!" I heard Lady's voice.
The little girl rolled her eyes and went in the back upstairs.
Lady came to the door and let us in.
"Hi I'm Lady how are you?" She smiled
"Good and you?" My aunt asked sitting down
"Fine. Um, my parents will be down in a second"
"Ok"
"Hey Yazmin" she smiled and hugged me
"Hey" I smiled and hugged back
I heard arguing really loud coming down the steps and saw it was Lady's parents arguing.
"Vanessa shut- oh hi we have company?" Lady's dad looked at us then her
"Yes, I told you that" Lady said quietly
"Don't get smart. You didn't tell us that." Her mom looked at her
"I did tho" she looked at her mom
Her mom whispered something to her and whatever it was it made Lady mad then turned back to us and smiled.
"Hi I'm Vanessa, 'Lady's' mom and this-"
"I can introduce myself." He said rolling his eyes.
"I'm Greg. Lady's dad" he shook our hands and kissed my aunts hand while looking at her. Lady's mom looked mad.
My aunt pulled her hand away.
"Um, hi I'm Marissa. Yazmin's aunt"
"Well you look nothing like Yazmin" Lady's dad smiled at my aunt looking her up and down.
"Dad." Lady said
"Shut up." He spat back
"I think it's time to go." My aunt said getting kind of mad "let's go Yazmin"
I stood up.
"Wait, can Yazmin please come to my party tonight? Please..." Lady asked my aunt
"......yeah she can" my aunt said
I was excited.
Tonight was gonna be fun....I hope.
