I was standing at my locker when Lucas came up to me.

"Hey ma" he leaned against a locker beside me on his phone.

"Hey" I closed my locker.

"How's your new phone?"

"Haven't used it yet....but I did use the membership last night" I smiled

He smiled. "That's good. You should let me work out with you"

"You can if you want..."

"I am. Anytime you wanna workout call me. Nah matter of fact we gon do it every day after school and the weekend except Sunday's."

"Um, that's a lot"

"Yazmin. I wanna help you lose weight....help me help you"

I sighed. "Ok fineeee"

He smiled.

Ugh. His smile was gorgeous. Especially when he licked his lips.

Pipe down Yaz. He has a girlfriend. Who hates me.

"So after school?"

"Yep. Call me when you get out cause I'm skipping today. I'm not feeling too good" he said

"What's wrong?"

"I gotta bad headache"

"If I had a head that big it would ache too." I heard Lady say

"Shut up" he flicked her off

She laughed. "Hey Yaz"

"Hey"

"You going to the couples weekend with us?" Lady asked

"Yeah"

"With?"

"Greg" I smiled.

I saw Lucas roll his eyes.

"Why don't y'all like each other?" I asked Lucas

"He just a irritating ass fuckboy that's all"

"No he's not, he's actually really nice and sweet"

"Mhm. Anyway. I'm going home see y'all later."

"Bye ugly" lady said and they hugged

"Bye big head" he hugged me "bye Yaz" and left

Me and Lady walked to our first period.

August

I seen Lady walk in first period and damn did she look good.

I was sort of distancing myself away from her from now because of what me and Destiny did.

"So when we gon tell them?" She asked

"Well I tried ta tell Lady yesterday but-"

"That's cause I got scared."

"Whatever. Look I gotta tell-"

"I know I know."

I just looked at her. She was real irritating.

"What?"

"Cut me off one mo time."

"Sorry" she rolled her eyes

I got up and went out the class to go ta da bathroom.

When I was in da bathroom I felt like I wanted ta break down. Keeping secrets just wasn't my thing. Especially keeping them from a person dat I loved so damn much.

Truth is, dat's not only the reason I felt like breaking down. My mama was sick....not sick like just a common cold. She was sick sick....real sick....nobody knows what's wrong tho. It's fuckin my head up.

Destiny

August left the room but I really ain't care. To be honest, I ain't care about none of this. Too much shit was going on in my life right now for any kid else to be mad at me for anything. I was so over it. When the truth came out, if Chris was mad he was mad. If Lady was mad, she was mad. I didn't care anymore. Yeah Lady's my Bestfriend but....I just don't know.

Lady

I saw Aug leave the classroom and I didn't even care anymore. He was being so distant from me so I'm guessing he got a new girl now. It whatever I don't really care......ok yes I really do care but that's just because he was my first everything. I love him too much for me to stay mad. But he just wouldn't talk to me so I guess it's whatever.

"I'm gonna sneak out cause I'm gonna hang with Lucas for the day."

"Ok. Wait do y'all.....ya know...-"

"No. No. No. No. Ewwwww. No." I said in disgust.

Lucas was just my Bestfriend. Ew. I could never think of him in any other way. And he felt the same.

"We're just Bestfriends."

"Ohhhh. Sorry" Yazmin said

I laughed "your fine. Everyone always asks us that"

"Ohhh well tell him I said hi"

"I will" I snuck out the back classroom door.

Aug was a G. He just walked right out of class but I couldn't do that. Had to sneak.

I walked to the student parking lot and got in my car and pulled off to Lucas's house.

When I got there, I got out my car and walked inside his house.

"I'm home!" I yelled

"Upstairs!" He yelled back

I walked upstairs to his room and closed the door behind me.

I sat on the couch in his room and turned the tv on.
We just chilled for the rest of the day.
