Twists and revelations

Rogue POV:

I woke up holding her, she looked absolutely stunning even when she slept. I crawled out of bed and started making her some breakfast but I started hearing a strange noise in the house and I could smell someone else's presence. I walked into the living room and that man was making himself at home right on my couch.

"What are you doing here?" I asked a little annoyed
"I remembered a little something"
"What do you mean?"
"Remember those precious daughters of yours? Well let me explain something, my magic is a little more complicated than you may think." He smiles evily.
"What do you mean?"
"My magic can't make your existing offspring disappear, I don't exactly turn back time. I put two or more people in an allusion and take their memory away. Everything around you is just an allusion, this just buys Ms. Lissanna some time to get her real revenge." He started to laugh which pissed me off
"So you're saying that she's after our kids?!" I yell furiously and the guy just smirks before disappearing. After he is fully gone I punch the wall and Luvy comes running out the room seemingly scared "Rogue?! Are you alright?"
"Lucy this is going to sound really strange but I need you to listen to me, ok?" I say trying to calm down at least a little
"Okay?" She says hesitantly
"Alright first off we are married, we have 2 kids, our guilds joined together, Lissanna is out for revenge, and our kids are in danger..." I took a deep breath after all of that
"Are you fucking with me? How much did I drink last night? Did you literally screw my brains out?" She begins to joke.
"No, Lucy! Think about me and only me, try to remember. It's gonna hurt but I need you to push through it!" I yell and she just looks at me like I'm insane before doing as I asked. She began to scream and hold onto her head
"It hurts!!! Ahhhh IT HURTS!!" I started to cry as I watched her scream in pain and then all at once she stopped and looked up at me.
"L-lucy? Do you remember? Please remember..." I say feeling helpless
"Where are the girls?" As soon as she says that the town where we first encountered the man appeared around us and I could tell we were back in our time.
"Come on! I hope we aren't too late" I say as I drag her towards our guild.

A/N: Yeah it's a super short chapter compared to the last one and I'm sorry for that. I'm really trying to focus on ending this book so I can finish writing my new book which is oddly enough another GrayLu book and then I actually might try out a StingLu book when I finish that one.
