Chapter 26

Edward's Pov:

"Do you Aro Volturi take Isabella swan" -We all gasp - "to be your lawful wedded wife to love and protect her for as long as you both shall live? "

"E alla" Aro replies meaning I do in Italian.

"And do you Isabella Swan take Aro Volturi to be your lawful wedded husband to love and cherish him for as long as you both shall live?"

Suddenly a wind picks up around us. A wind inside the room. It has obviously been created by a vampire. The wind pushes Bella from above the ground so that she is stood tall and above everyone, though she doesn't look scared; she looks strong.

"Credi davvero che potrei mai sposare una mostruosità come te Aro? Sei solo pura malvagità. Hai avuto me rinchiusi per mesi. E sì io sono potente più di quanto si potrà mai essere, ma ho i diritti. Io sono una persona; Io non sono un giocattolo e vi posso promettere che non sei l'uomo a che mio cuore apparterrà mai. Ho un'anima gemella e non siete esso."

She says loudly in fluent Italian and I've never been prouder.

Then she goes invisible.

"My lil sis is awesome!!" hollers Emmet from beside me.

Aro looks scared as a force we can not see drags him backwards. We watch in sort of amusement as Aro starts slapping thin air.

Then we all listen in awe as a majestic voice takes hold of the room.

"When will I feel this

As vivid as it truly is,

Fall in love in a single touch,

And fall apart when it hurts too much?

Can we skip past near-death clichés

Where my heart restarts, as my life replays?

All I want is to flip a switch

Before something breaks that cannot be fixed.
