Tomorrows the Fourth of July and the whole family, and I mean whole family, is all heading down to the beach for three nights. Well, technically two considering the adults drove the motorhomes down tonight and are setting everything up while the rest of the family is driving down tomorrow. But... Ryland's words kept echoing in my head. Invite Laura. Everyone's bringing their partner, including my one little cousin, Gus.
Sighing, I reach for my phone. 11:34pm. Eh, Laura should still be awake... and I haven't texted her since like noon today, so hopefully she'll answer.

She even attached a screenshot of our conversation, starting with her asking if I actually listen to her music. But what really caught my attention was my contact name, Ross🤔💛😜. She must be on her iPad since I know she still has a fucking flip phone.

Before I could move on and text her back, a fan tweeted something about Laura's contact name in my phone and started saying how she knew Laura and I started dating a year earlier than we were suppose to. Whelp, as much as I want that to be true... it's not.
