How to Lucid Dream: Beginning Steps

Hello! Today I will be teaching you some GOOD steps to help YOU lucid dream!

   (EDIT) Some people don't know what lucid dreaming is, for info, it is when you are dreaming and become aware that you are and have the mental ability to control it and do whatever you want inside of your dream.

First, you will need to have a healthy sleeping schedule and insomnia probably wont be helpful for these. (It may be easier to sleep after your first purposeful lucid dream because it makes you more excited to go to bed.) , (Healthier sleeping habits.).

Second, keep a dream journal, this will help you remember what a dream is so when you are dreaming you will be able to tell if it is a dream or not. (BONUS! You get to look back on your dreams!) You should do this right after you wake up. (Keep it close to where you sleep!)

Third, it may help you to repeat "I will gain consciousness during my dream tonight." or "I will lucid dream tonight.".

Last, if you do achieve a lucid dream, do NOT get too excited during a dream or you will wake up BUT luckily there are ways to help you from slipping from the dream.
