Hello readers! Two updates in one day? From me?! I know right, anyways onto the important topic of lucidity. From my boy, GizEdwards I've learned about the layers of lucidity and how to move through them.
In this chapter I am going to go through each layer and describe what they mean, how to raise them and how to know which level you are on. Please sit back, relax and think of how you, yourself, can achieve the maximum level of lucidity.

Layer 1:
The most irritating level from a lucid dreamer's perspective. This level is when right when you realize you are dreaming, you get too excited and wake up or you just plain slip out for no reason. Yes extremely frustrating to go through and usually effects beginners the most. Understand that this stage is necessary but temporary. How to level up this layer, you might ask? Well first off, calm down, breathe and do those exercises mentioned in previous chapters to calm down. Also, before bed, tell yourself what you are going to do in your dream.

Layer 2:
Another excruciatingly irritating level of lucidity where it is the most difficult to raise your layer. People stuck in this layer feel something odd about the dream but you do not know what it is. To level up, simply notice changes in your dream characters' behaviors and how similar you act in your dream to how you do in real life (you can keep track of this through a dream journal). You can also use your senses (smell, taste, hearing, sight and touch) by using them frequently to raise up.

Layer 3:
Many of you are most likely on this layer where you feel the need to constantly tell other dream characters that you are dreaming and that they are not real. During this level you are also not in full control of your lucid dream. I want to tell you that you should stop convincing other characters that you are dreaming because it wastes time you could be spending doing more important and fun things during your lucid dream (flying, talking to your crush, etc.) To raise this layer up to layer 4, you'll want to feel your surroundings just like I mentioned before, use your five sense as you would in reality and hope that you'll reach a higher understanding of lucidity.

Layer 4:
This is the highest level of what is considered lucid dreaming, during this level you will feel completely in control and realize that the people around you are simply made up by your subconscious mind. You will be able to recall your dream perfectly and hopefully be able to see it more vividly.

Layer 5:
This layer is not into the layers of lucid dreaming anymore, some might call this astral projection or an O.B.E (Out of Body Experience).

I hope you enjoyed this chapter and please check out this video by GizEdwards on YouTube, 'How to Raise up the Levels of Lucidity'
