I wake up and get ready for school. This weekend I might have gotten into a car accident, but there is no way I am missing school. I don't always like school, but I would fall too far behind. I put on a black t-shirt, and a gray pair of sweatpants. I lace up my black converse on my left foot, I wear these shoes a lot, they match everything. I throw my hair half up, half down, and I get on my phone while I wait for Lin to pick me up.

Lin was five minutes late, which was unusual. I hope over to the window and see Lin's car still isn't there, so I call him. He picks up on the first ring, "Hey Lin? Are you coming to pick me up today? I need to get to school," I tell him.

"Are you crazy? You aren't going to school," he says with a laugh.

"I can't miss school, I will fall behind," I explain.

"I can pick up your work from school when I get your prescription for your pain meds, okay?"

"Fine."

"Good, I'll be there this afternoon," he tells me before hanging up.

I slip off my shoe, and decide to go back to sleep. If I had to stay home, I was gonna make the best of this situation. I am later awoken to the sound of people coming in the theater, which was weird since it was a Monday and there was no show. I am immediately scared when there's a knock at the door, "Can I come in?" The person asks, it was Lin.

"Yeah," I tell him as he peeks his head in.

"I brought some friends," he says while walking in with Anthony, Jazzy, Groff, Oak, and Pippa behind him.

"And food," Groff tells me and sets a bag of takeout pasta in my lap.

"Thank you guys, you didn't have to do this," I say while opening up the pasta.

"It's not a big deal," Pippa tells me while putting her hand on my shoulder.

"Well, you need food, and I got your pain meds," Lin says to me and hands me two white round pills. "Also, you have to go back to the hospital Thursday morning to get your stitches out. And, I got your school work from today."

"Okay," I say after swallowing the pills with some water.

"What are we gonna do now?" Anthony asks.

"Elizabeth, you should tell us about your boyfriend," Jazzy suggests with a smirk.

"No, no she won't, because she doesn't have a boyfriend," Lin says being over protective.

"Yeah, I don't have a boyfriend," I tell them.

"That boy named, Sean? He visited you at the hospital?" Jazzy asks.

"Oh, him," I say and start to blush.

"Spill," Pippa demands.

"Girl talk, yes!" Oak exclaims.

"There isn't much to say. I met him at the party, he's kind, caring, considerate," I tell them.

"You like him," Pippa says sing songy.

"Yeah, he's my friend," I explain.

"Kid, even I can tell you like him. You like more than a friend," Anthony tells me.

"Maybe I do," I say with a shrug.

"We should change the subject," Lin suggests being protective again.

"Lin, she's a teenage, let her live," Pippa tells Lin.

"Fine, fine," Lin replies while putting his hands up in defense. "We should still change the subject."

We talk for a couple hours before they had to leave. Lin was the last one to leave, "Hey," I say to him before he walks out.

"Hey," he says back.

"Is there a chance I am going to school tomorrow?" I ask with a smile trying to persuade him.

"Sorry sweetie, but no," he tells me.

"Can I least invite my friends over today?" I ask him.

"Shouldn't you do your work first?"

"After I finish of course."

"Who do you want to invite over?"

"Emily and Maddie."

"Isn't she the friend who wanted you to go to the party, and wasn't her boyfriend who crashed the car? And I don't know Maddie."

"Well yes, and yes. But she just wanted me to have fun, and she didn't want Charles driving either. Also she told me Charles got arrested, that's unrelated but I thought you should know," I ramble.

"Okay," he gives in.

"Thank you," I exclaim while hopping up to give him a hug, still too lazy to grab my crutches.

"Don't party too hard."

"I should probably start my homework," I tell him.

"I'll go, bye," he says before leaving again.

"Thanks again," I say to him.

"No problem," he says to me before leaving.

I text Emily and Maddie, inviting them over when I finish my homework. My homework was actually easy. A couple sheets for algebra on factoring polynomials, a review on conjugating for Spanish, nothing for English. It takes me about 45 minutes, and I tell Maddie and Emily they could come over now. I start to head down the stairs now, since by the time I got down there, they would be here. I finally get to the stage door, and I get a text saying they were here. "Hey guys," I say as I open the door to see Emily and Maddie.

"Where were you today?" Maddie asks and they both walk in.

"Lin wants me to stay home this week to heal and relax," I explain.

"Could you hold these?" I ask Emily and hand her my crutches.

I begin to hop up the stairs and she asks me, "Don't you have an elevator?"

"Sadly, no," I tell her. Emily and Maddie, both, beat me up the stairs.

"What took you so long?" Maddie asks.

"I'm sorry I don't have use of both my legs," I say and point to my light blue cast. Emily hands me my crutches, and we go into my room to sit on my bed on talk. We talk about school, musicals, and force Maddie to finally listen Hamilton. We only get to "What I'd Miss" before they have to leave. They walk each other out to save me from going up and down the stairs. I check the time and it was almost 7:30. I wasn't that hungry, so I grab the bag of gummy worms that Groff brought to me yesterday, which was half full, and ate what was left. I watch YouTube for an hour or two, before getting ready to go to bed.

I put on a pair of cute pajamas, and am to lazy to redo my ponytail. I lay down, and go to sleep.
