Yes guys, this is the chapter where the title of this roller coaster finally makes sense. This is the idea that sprung this emotional mess into action. All will make sense after this chapter. We hope you like it!

Phil's POV

"Hey, Dan. There's somewhere I want to take you." I got an idea to share some things and places that are special to me with Dan.

"What is it Phil?" Dan's sweet voice comes from my phone.

"It's a- it's a surprise." A smile makes its way to my face and Dan chuckles.

"Ok, Philly." Dan says slowly and my smile further spreads across my face.

I place the thin blanket that closely resembles my bed sheets on the grass between two trees. This place holds so many memories. I can hear the river flowing away from me in harmony with the birds surrounding me.

"Alright Danny, we're here." I say as I sit on the blanket and place my phone on my legs.

I look up at the clear sky, minimal clouds are floating above me and the sun is off to the side so it's not directly in my eyes. It's perfect.

Just like the day Chris first asked me on a date.

For some reason I pick up my phone off my lap and send Chris a text, a simple "hey". As soon as I press send, a red exclamation point appears beside the text

"Message Send Failure"

I placed the blanket in a different spot than the one Chris and I always used, such a nice place shouldn't be associated with such negative emotions. I want to make new memories for this place, with Dan. Sending Chris a text would ruin these new memories.

"Dan.." I sigh. "Thank you."

We sit in silence for a minute. It's not awkward, for me at least, I'm enjoying the scenery around me.

"You know, this is the place where Chris first asked me out."

I can hear a slight sound coming from Dan, he doesn't like me being here.

"It's such a nice place, I figured it should be associated with nice memories. That's why I brought you here." I finish waiting for him to say something.

"Phil... it's beautiful."

Dan's POV

He brought me to a meadow of sorts. I can hear a river and some birds. Through the camera I can see the top of Phil's head along with some beautiful, towering trees. It is truly beautiful, I wasn't lying about that. It's just, he associates this place with Chris, and I don't think he should be here.

"I wish you were right beside me. Sitting on this blanket with me, looking at the sky." Phil says, still looking up at the sky.

I pause thinking of how to respond. Now's a good a time as any to tell him the truth. Why wait? I'm going to do it.

"Phil... I am beside you. Well, on your lap really."

"What?" He's now looking down at his phone, looking down at me. His black fringe hanging down covering his eye currently filled with confusion.

"I'm uh- well, it's a long story." I start, he just stares down, waiting for me to explain.

"So- I go to this psychic, her name is Delia Mellapples. I was visiting her one day and she told me that I'd meet the one, my soul mate in the following year. During one of my other visits she said that, you, are my soul mate. She uh- "helped me out" as she put it by... shrinking me and, putting me... in your phone." When I'm finished I wait for a response but it's silent, even the birds and river seemed to have stopped making noise.

Phil's POV

"Wow." Is all I say, it's all I can say. I'm not sure whether or not I should believe Dan. He seems pretty sincere. Why would he make something like that up? It's insane, but, it's true.

"Phil?" I hear him say through my phone.

"Yeah?" I look at the ground, not blinking.

"Are you ok?" His voice is filled with concern.

"Yeah, yeah. It's just- a lot to take in." I say as I continue to stare at the ground.

I love Dan, I do love him. Does this situation change that?

No, it doesn't.

"How do we get you out?"
