Why do authors change the spelling of words and count them as a name, but still pronounce them the same way before they changed it.
For example:
Sirius - serious
Peta - Peter
Katniss - Cat... Ness?
But seriously, imagine my name like that...
Violet Frost
Veyelet Phrosst
What's the point?
