A hand is felt on my shoulder, causing me to stir from my lovely slumber. A small groan of defiance escapes my lips as I clutch the blankets in my arms close to my chest. I hear a light laugh before the hand shakes my shoulder. Sighing in defeat, my eyes flutter open to reveal my E/C orbs. Standing beside me is a familiar white haired male. On his lips is a gentle smile.

"Time to wake up, Y/N."

I lethargically nod my head before sitting up and yawning. The warm blanket that covered me last night falls onto my lap as I do so. After rubbing the sleep from my eyes, a frown appears on my lips.

'I'm going to see him.' I'm completely nervous about this entire plan. So many things can go wrong, but I have to stay positive. I've been longing to see Mephiles for years. I just hope he'll be as excited as I am to see him again, but a part of me knows that's wishful thinking. Silver sits beside me and rubs my back in a comforting manner. It helps, but only slightly.

"Hey, don't look so down. Everything's gonna be okay, just be confident in yourself."

I nod my head, and the male stands.

"I'll go grab you some breakfast. I'll be back in a bit."

"Okay."

Silver leaves me alone in the room with Claude to keep me company. I smile at the feline and run my fingers along the fur on his back. The cat stretches his front arms while yawning before curling up in a new position to go back to sleep. I sigh and pull my hand away before standing.

'I suppose I should get dressed.' I walk over to my bag that's sitting on a wooden table along the wall and unzip it. I pull out a few things to reach an outfit I like before getting dressed. Knowing it's pretty warm outside, I pick out a black T-shirt, jean shorts, and sneakers.
