From The Journal Of Lorraine Ellis

March 31, 1924

Today, I met Gail Peters for the first time...and I sincerely hope it was also the last time.

Never had I ever met a woman who was pleasant-looking on the outside only to look your way and, without saying a word, instantly become as cold-hearted as one could become. One small smile from her and I was cringing. Not in disgust, but because she was so incredibly intimidating.

It had be me, Father, Wesley, and Jesse. The four of us had gone into Florence for the day, just to get away from it all. When both Wesley and Jesse cursed under their breaths before Jesse immediately stood from our table and disappeared, Father and I didn't understand. But with one look from the woman, then the smile, I understood.

She did not speak to us. Not one word. She knew exactly who Wesley was, though, and what he was. He kept his gaze steady on hers until she disappeared with the two men and one woman she was with. It was then Wesley told me who she was.

Gail Peters, the leader of the Order.

The third group in the triumvirate.
