Lana's PoV

Of course, everything was going well that morning, I mean, the girls didn't even notice I was gone. But then at Breakfast, Fred and George had an announcement and were smirking at me.

"Well boys, what is your announcements?" Dumbledore asked smiling broadly already knowing everything.

"Well, you see," George began.

"Lana Jackson," Fred continued.

"Just got adopted," George said.

"By the best DADA teacher ever," Fred said.

"Professor Lupin," George said.

"And is now," Fred said.

"Lana Hope Lupin!" They said together.

"So, do you think it will be a problem if we are missing 2 players from our team?" I asked Harry as everyone cheered, "The beaters?"

They came over and grinned at me. I stuck my tongue out at them and they laughed. I scooted over next to Ginny.

"Hey Gin, how would you like it if 2 of your brothers suddenly went missing? I can do it for you, you know where to find me," I told her.

She smiled, "Well, can you do three, I mean, the Head Boy is a bit of a problem,"

"Oh yeah," I said.

"Hey!" I heard Fred and George cry, "We thought you loved us Gin!"

"Nah," She teased.

"That hurts," They said dramatically.

Ron was still in a bad mood with Hermione the entire day. He barely talked to her all through Herbology. Even though all four of us were working on the same puffapod.

"How's Scabbers?" Hermione asked him timidly.

"He's hiding at the bottom of my bed, shaking," He said angrily, missing the pail and scattering beams all over the greenhouse floor.

"Careful, Weasley! Careful!" Professor Sprout yelled as the beans burst into bloom.

We had transfiguration next and Lavander was crying. Parvati has her arm around her and was explained something to Seamus and Dean, who were looking very serious.

"What's the matter Lavender?" Hermione asked her.

"She got a letter from home this morning, it's her rabbit, Binky. He's been killed by a fox," Parvati whispered.

"Oh, I'm sorry Lavender," Hermione said.

"I should've know! You know what day it is?. Lavender said tragically.

"Um, a Friday?" I asked.

"The 16 of October! 'That thing that you're dreading, it will happen on the 16th of October' Remembers? She was right, she was right!" She cried.

"You were dreading Binky being killed by a fox?" Hermione asked in confusion.

"Well, not necessarily by a row! But I was obviously dreading him dying, wasn't I?" Lavender said looking at Hermione with streaming eyes.

"Oh, was Binky an old rabbit?" Hermione asked.

"No! He was only a baby!" Lavender sobbed.

"But then, why would you dread him dying?" Hermione asked.

Parvati glared at her.

"Well, look at it Logically, I mean, Binky didn't even die today, did he? Lavender just got the news today, and she can't have been dreading it, because it's come as a real shock," Hermione said.

"Wait, how did a rabbit get killed by a fox?" I asked in confusion, "Don't you keep it like inside your house and have a protected area just for the rabbit? I mean it's kinda dumb to let it out into the woods,"

"Don't mind Hermione, Lavender, she doesn't think other people's pets matter very much," Ron said loudly.

"Wait, I'm still confused," I said.

Luckily before anyone could say anything. Minnie opened the classroom door. And Ron and Hermione sat on either side of Harry and I. So it went Mione then Harry then Me then Ron. They were angry at each other the entire class. Then finally, the bell rang.

"One moment please!" Minnie said before I could run to the door.

"As you're all in my house, you should hand Hogsmeade permission slip forms to me before Halloween. No form, no visiting the village, so don't forget!" She said.

Neville put his hand up.

"Please Professor, I think I've lost," He stuttered.

"Your grandmother sent your to me directly, Longbottom. She seemed to think it was safer. Well, that's all, you may leave," She said.

"Ask her now," Ron hissed at Harry.

"Oh, but," Hermione began.

"Go for it," Ron said stubbornly.

"It's not gonna work," I sang.

We waited nervously for the rest of the class to disappear, then headed to Minnie's desk, Harry looked nervous.

"Hola Minnie!" I said grinning widely at her.

"Hello, Ja... Lupin," She said.

"Ah, you have to get used to it too," I said, "Anyway, Harry must speak with you,"

"Yes, Potter?" She asked.

Harry took a deep breath, "Professor, my aunt and uncle er, forgot to sign my form," he said, "So, er, d'you think it would be all right, I mean, will it be okay if I if I go to Hogsmeade?"

"I'm afraid not, Potter. You heard what I said. No form, no visiting the village. That's the rule" She said.

"But, Professor, my aunt and Uncle, you know, they're muggles, they don't really understand about, about Hogwarts forms and stuff. If you said I could go," Harry said with Ron egging him on with vigorous nods.

"But I don't say so," Minnie said, "The form clearly states that the parent or guardian must give permission. I'm sorry, Potter, but that's my final woes. You had better hurry, or you'll be late for your next class," She said.

When we walked out, Ron called Minnie a bunch of mean names that annoyed Mione. And Mione had a all for the best expression on that angered Ron. And Harry has to endure everyone talking about Hogsmeade. And everyone tried to make Harry feel better. And I wanted to hit Percy. Soon it was the day before Hogsmeade so I decided to ask my Dad if I could go. I walked down to his room and burst in after telling the portrait the password. He was at his desk grading papers and looked up when I entered and smiled softly.

"Hey Dad?" I asked.

"Hogsmeade?" He asked.

"You betcha," I said.

"I already told Minerva that you are aloud to go. I figured that you would ask me the night before," He said.

"Hm, I wonder why," I said sarcastically.

"Well, you remind me of a few old friends," He said.

"The other Marauders?" I asked and he looked surprised.

"How did you know?" He asked me.

"I had a weird dream. You were there and so were 3 other boys, James, Sirius, and Pete I think. And you were joking around and having fun. And you had the Marauder's Map and James wanted to pull a prank on Snape. And you were Moony and then there was Padfoot and Prongs and Wormy or something," I said, "They seemed like fun, and your best friends,"

"Lana, come here sweetie, I'm gonna tell you a story okay?" He said softly.

"I'm not 5," I complained.

He rolled his eyes and sat on his bed. I came over and sat next to him.
