The Beginning

Be Prepared.

Bella's POV.

I woke up the next morning and went downstairs. Dad had left a note saying how he was going to the casino. Yay. Well at least he left a note. I made some toast and woke Nicole up. I left her and dressed in my work uniform. I re-read over my homework and scribbled a question down I had forgotten about. I then had breakfast, made lunches and got ready for school. Nicole was still getting ready so I took some time to pack her clothing and a few items. I checked the clock.

"NICOLETTE LET'S GO!" I yelled. I grabbed my bag and made sure everything was off before locking the door. As I drove to school we sang. I stopped outside the entrance and saw Macey and Casey the twins waiting for Nicole. I waved.

"Pick you up from Ms. Wilkins at 6 ok?" She nodded and ran off. I smiled before driving to my own school. I parked my car and walked to Ms. Wilkins classroom. I knocked on the door. She smiled at me.

"Come in Bella." I smiled and walked in. 'So when is the day?" She asked. She knew it would be soon.

"Tomorrow morning." Ms. Wilkins smiled at me.

"I knew this would happen. Please come see me tomorrow." I smiled.

"I will promise." Ms. Wilkins nodded.

"Go to your locker now. I'll see you 5th period." I nodded. I walked to my locker and saw Bailey. She smiled.

"Hey Bella. What do we have today? I left my schedule at home." I smiled.

"Hold on. I'll check." I opened my locker and scanned Tuesday's timetable.

"We have free period, history, morning tea, extra class so for me argument and speech, then social science and finally English." Bailey smiled.

"Thanks Bella. So want to do something since we have a free period?" I smiled.

"I would but I have work. And I actually need to hand some science and math homework in." Bailey looked at me.

"Can't you just hand it in tomorrow. Like everyone else?" I nodded.

"I could but I'd rather not carry them around for an extra day. I'm done why not hand them in." She nodded.

"True." She saw Mr. Crafter her science teacher and looked at me. "I'll see you in history." I nodded and waved. I walked towards the science building. I knocked on Ms. Peterson's door.

"Come in." I opened the door. Ms. Peterson looked up. "Ah Bella. What are you doing here?" She asked.

"Well I wanted to drop in my homework." She looked at me.

"Why it's not due till tomorrow." I smiled.

"I know but it's done so what's the point of carrying it around." She smiled. I waved goodbye and handed in my maths before driving to work. I parked and walked inside. I saw Lily and Jay.

"Hey Bella." I smiled.

"Hey guys." People were starting to rush in. It was only 8.30. I took register. Orders flowed in and before I knew it my shift for the morning was over. Malika came out.

"You working this afternoon?" I nodded.

"Maybe just until 5 so I can get the rest of the stuff packed." Malika nodded.

"Well I'll see you later then." She waved and I drove off to school.

History was a bore but law was next. I rushed in to get my usual seat. As I sat down other people filed in. Bailey hadn't chose an extra class yet so I was patiently wondering what one she would pick. Seats filled up and there was one extra seat in the back corner. Mrs. Grey walked in. I love Mrs. Grey. She makes the class interesting.

"Morning class." We all said good morning. "Doyou have your homework?" We nodded and then someone ran in. "Bailey you'relate!" I whipped around and saw Bailey. She waved and I waved back. Why was shefollowing me?
