- Breaking the stone barrier -
Weeks passed as Haylee would spend her days doing school work and and nights working on the vanishing cabinet with Draco. Once it usually hits three in the morning, she would be passed out and Draco would sigh at her and grab her fragile frame and take her to the common room into her own bedroom filled with memories of her past with Draco, Blaise, Pansy, Rosalie, and now Harry, Ron, and Hermione.
Every time his eyes looked over the picture of her and her brother laughing and she smashes a snowball in his face as he just laughs at the blonde while he tackles her to the ground, he would feel jealousy fill his stomach.
He didn't have a family like her, yet she's using him. She's playing with his mind to get closer to Dumbledore and kill him quicker, but even her plan wasn't working.
And after he would place her in bed he would lightly kiss her forehead and tuck her in bed then leave, trying to finish the task at hand. And every time Haylee woke up she would feel guilty and quickly head to the Room of Requirements to get Draco and get him ready for classes.
But this weekend was Draco's break through. He was holding a package with a cursed necklace in it as he carefully held on it while Haylee was walking next to him.
"Just be a man Draco, and give it to Dumbledore himself." She hissed at the coward as he glared at the blonde.
"Would you do it?" He asked and Haylee chuckled.
"Of course, then I would know for a fact that I didn't screw up and I would get to see his cold dead face myself." She said without a care in the world.
Draco sighed at how much the blonde had changed. She went from being sweet and innocent to someone who was broken. A monster. But he wouldn't say that to her face, because that would cause too much trouble.
He looked at Haylee again. "Look I'm jut going to give this to Katie Bell and use the Imperious curse on her." He said and Haylee rolled her blue eyes.
"Really? That's all. You could seriously go to his office let him open the package and see for yourself if it would work. But you're going to trust your magic that's been iffy recently." She murmured at the sleep deprived boy.
Draco knew she was right, but he couldn't risk Dumbledore to know that it's him that's trying to kill him. "Please, Haylee. Like you could do any better." He muttered and the girl rolled her eyes.
"Well I best be off, I have to see Harry, Hermione, and Ron at the Three Broom Sticks. See you tonight." She said and winked at him while in the inside he felt excited and nervous at the same time as he watched the girl leave him.
He sighed to himself and cursed himself in his head. "Stop it Draco." He muttered and walked over to Katie Bell with the cursed object.
_______
Haylee's POV
I walked into Three Broom Sticks as I felt the warmth spread through my body from being out in the cold. I sighed and walked over to the table and sat down net to Hermione and across from Ron. "Sorry, I'm late. I was held up by-"
"Malfoy." All three of them said while I chuckled.
"Yeah." I answered while Harry just shook his head.
