- Back Together -
Haylee stayed up in a tree with her head resting against it. She looked up at the crescent moon and sighed. She thought about Remus and Quinn if they ever forgave her and would still be their goddaughter.
Then her mind wondered over to Draco and her heart shattered at the thought. Haylee sighed and shook her head. "Get back to the mission Haylee. Horcruxes." She mumbled to herself.
Once she almost fell asleep a bright blue light caused her to turn and open her dark blue eyes to see a patronous of a doe.
She furrowed her eyebrows and the doe started walking away which caused Haylee to get up. "Hey, wait!" She called out and started following it.
Soon she walked over to a lake and saw the doe fade away. It was iced over and she shivered slightly missing the warmth of the wool blanket. She walked over to the edge of the middle of the lake and looked down to see the sword of Gryffindor.
"What the..." She mumbled and an idea popped in her head. "Well, I might be crazy, but it's worth it... Hopefully." She added and took off her wool sweater and then jeans.
She sighed and started going in the water. "Oh gods..." She mumbled and took a deep breath and jumped in.
She quickly started swimming towards the silver and red glow and quickly grabbed it. When she was running low on air she tried to get up to the surface. When she tried to get up something dragged her foot down and she screamed.
She tried to shake it off, but it didn't work and she was loosing air which caused her to start loosing consciousness.
She felt someone grab her arms and pull her to the surface and she coughed up the freezing water. Her eyes snapped open and she shivered and threw the sword over with her clothes.
She looked up at the familiar red head and sighed feeling a warm jacket wrap around her. "T-thanks." She breathed out and Ron smiled.
"No problem. But are you bloody insane!" He yelled at her. She just smiled and hugged the jacket closer to her.
"I missed you too. After how long as it been, three months." She said and got up while grabbing her clothes.
She quickly got dressed and looked over at Ron. "Where's Harry? And Hermione?" She asked while Ron looked down sheepishly.
"I ran away from them." He said sadly and Haylee furrowed her eyebrows.
"Why would you do that?" She asked and he sighed while swinging his arms to the side.
"Well, the locket is cursed to whoever wears and you get angry over everything." He said while Haylee grabbed the sword of Gryffindor in her scarred hands.
"Ready to go find them then?" She asked and he smiled while lifting an object and light flew out while Haylee heard Draco's voice.
"That's not weird." She mumbled and Ron blushed.
"Sorry. It's just Hermione though." He said and started following the light.
Haylee furrowed her eyebrows for the hundredth time. "What? No I hear Draco's." She said while Ron shook his head.
"Well I hear Hermione's." He mumbled while Haylee rolled her eyes.
"Well you must love her." She mumbled and they made their way towards Harry and Hermione.
