Kakashi held my hand and took me throughout the village, showing me the local hot spots and telling me things that happened to him there. He took me to a ramen shop and ordered us each some food. I saw his eyes crinkle as he looked at the stools and I said
"what?" he grinned
"My team likes to eat here. I know one certain boy who should be showing up any second now for his thirty bowl lunch" as if on cue a blond tornado came in and began to order several bowls of ramen. It wasn't until he was on his fourth bowl that he noticed Kakashi
"hey! Kakashi Sensei I-" he stopped when he noticed me "whats she doing here?" he asked, glaring at me. I quickly composed myself before saying
"I'm sorry Kakashi, but my team is waiting for me. We have to study for the Chunin exams" Kakashi looked confusedly between blondie and I and said
"you know her Naruto?" so that was his name. I sighed and abandoned all hopes of escaping. I leaned back and tried to get comfortable.
"ya! she was the one I told you about! the once with those sand genins! the one dating the cat guy!" I sighed as Kakashi looked towards me confused.
"first of all; I am not dating Kankuro, and second of all. I did nothing to offend you, so why be hateful towards me?"
"OH YEA?" blondie- I mean Naruto asked "then why did you have your hand around his waist?" I sighed deeper
"because you fool, as long as I was near I could control him. If he had looked into my eyes at the time he would've let the kid down and-" I was cut off by Kakashi
"what do you mean 'you could've controlled him?'"
"I mean I'm a siren" I growled. Kakashi looked a little shocked, and a little hurt
"does that mean-?"
"no. I was intrigued that you were the first person I didn't have to use siren on. I simply acted on the strange emotions I felt" he crossed his arms as I said this
"and how would you prove that you didn't use it?" he asked.
"because this is what it feels like" I said, and then I began to hum. My hair began to sway around me and Kakashi fell into a trance, along with several of the other people near me. I stopped humming and Kakashi blinked a few times.
"I believe you. What a valueable skill to have" he said. I frowned
"a curse that I would love to be rid of. Like I said, my team is waiting. Enjoy yourselves" I said and then I walked out. I had only gotten a few steps outside when someone grabbed my wrist. I turned to see Kakashi
"I- Liiran- I um" he blushed "I would still like to be your guide, if you'd like. I mean you dont have to but-" I smirked
"that sounds like fun. If your not just pitying me" his eye crinkled and he said
"really?" I smirked and said
"I don't like to repeat my self" he laughed
"I'll pick you up at noon tommorow" he said with a smile. I nodded and we headed off in our seperate directions. I touched my lips as I walked to the apartments and almost smiled.
Maybe being away from home wouldn't be so bad after all.
