Waking up in the morning next to my fiery redhead was the most amazing experience in the world. I know, I have woken up next to him before, but it has been too long. The moment my eyes fluttered open to see his calm face a smile formed on my lips. His eyes flickered to meet mine, as he also began to grin. His eyes we're open and fully aware as they always were.

"good morning" I mumbled, planting a chaste kiss on his lips. He smirked and brushed my hair out of my eyes

"good morning? More like good two days after you fell asleep" he said. My eyes widened

"I was asleep for two days?" he nodded, a light frown darkening his features.

"yes. I was worried, but the medical ninjas told me that you needed the rest." my lips tilted down, pulling themselves into a frown to match his own.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to" he smirked slightly.

"it's okay" grinning I pulled him down for another kiss. After we both pulled away I stood, pulling him up with me. I grinned at his messy hair and wrinkled clothes

"go change" I ordered. Passively, he nodded and left to go find fresh clothes. Grinning I dressed, an walked out of my room, to meet him in the kitchen. Somehow he had beaten me there, and was already fixing a breakfast for us two. Laughing I stepped up to the table, sitting and watching him slave over the kitchen for me. He brought my breakfast down to me and sat across from me. I leaned over and kissed him before saying

"best boyfriend ever" he smirked for a second before his eyes clouded with worry and something I couldn't recognize.

"about that..." he said. I frowned

"um... What about it?" I asked. He sighed

"never mind... How do you like your breakfast?" I frowned looking down at my plate, suddenly not so hungry anymore.

"it's wonderful... Thank you"

I sat on the roof of the Kazekage tower, my eyes closed as I thought over what Gaara had said earlier. What had he meant? I felt hurt, and bile rise to my throat at some of the reasons I came up with. I snapped my eyes open as I heard footsteps approach.

"I thought I would find you up here sleeping beauty" I grinned at the person speaking

"how could you guess?" Temari grinned at me

"you seem to like roofs" I laughed.

"I guess so..." she returned my smile and sat down beside me, staring over the sandy expanse that is Suna

"so what's up? You seem off" I frowned.

"it's nothing... Just something Gaara said" she frowned, turning to face me fully

"talk too me" I frowned as I recalled the mornings events to her, skipping all the kissing and sweet talking, because honestly, what better way to scar an older sister for life? She frowned at the end of my short story

"I'm sure it wasn't as bad as it seems... Just give him time, I'm sure he'll explain" I nodded, turning my eyes back to the village.

"perhaps"

I walked into the Kazekages tower, and headed right past the front desk, to go see Gaara

"miss! Where are you going?!" I turned back to look at her and she frowned
