Deleah: so I haven't uploaded in a while, and this chappy is (hopefully) longer than normal as an apology.I tried to upload it before, but i deleted it and had to redo it, so it might not be v ery good... I've been really sick lately, and according to the doctor I had a 'sever neck injury' that was causing my 'illness'... whatever, I'm better now, and I love you all.... Oh! And I don’t own Naruto!

PS i removed the funky spacing. i felt dishonest cuz it made this chapter seem so long... but anyways, enjoy!!

 We jumped through the forest quickly. I was surprised how fast we were going, considering the fact that Gaara was wounded. I looked over at him. He was conscience now, but barely. Blood still seeped through his shirt but there was nothing I could do. I healed the best I could in the current situation. All this moving around didn't exactly help either.

 "Let’s stop for a second!" Temari called. We hopped onto her tree and paused. She bent down to listen to the forest and then looked up at us

 "We’re being followed" she said.

 "What do we do? We can't fight in this condition!" Kankuro said, straightening the wounded Gaara that hung over his shoulder. Temari smirked

 "Leave that to me"

 Kabuto POV

 I left a clone at the arena to deal with the rest of them. I needed to watch Liirans progress. I hopped closely behind the enraged Sasuke. He was another one of Orochimaru's promising 'recruits' but I didn't care about that at the moment. I needed to see how skilled Liiran actually is. I have a feeling she was really holding back when she defeated me. Sasuke suddenly stopped in front of me and I carefully hid myself back in the trees. He smirked in my direction and hopped towards the sand team. I frowned and followed him.

 Perhaps I underestimated him

 Liiran POV

 We waited on our 'safe zone' and sure enough, Sasuke Uchiha emerged from the trees

 "Well well, if it isn't Sasuke Uchiha" Temari said with a smirk. I frowned. He glared at her, then Gaara, then Kankuro, and then his eyes stopped on me

 "Do you really think I'd let you get away?" he asked. I wasn't entirely certain if he was directing that to me in a romantic way or toward us in a scary way. Temari laughed, and Sasuke gave me a long look.

 "You could join me now, and I won’t have to kill you" he said. I activated Siren and met his eyes, while pulling out my bow and nocking an arrow

 "You won’t be able to kill me either way" I said, falling into an archer’s stance. He smirked.

 "Go you guys! I'll take care of this one" Temari called, throwing a few Kunai at Sasuke.

 "But Temari-"

 "Don’t argue! We have to get Gaara somewhere safe! That was the point of this mission" she smirked "besides, this is what I've been waiting for. Get going you two" Kankuro nodded and we hopped away.

 "No you don't!" I heard Sasuke call as he threw some ill accurate kunai at us. He began to follow us when Temari blocked his path. We were already gone far enough that we wouldn't be able to know what was happening

 "I hope Temari is okay" Kankuro said quietly. I nodded and we sped up our jumping. We shouldn't let her efforts go to waste. We ran for a little while before my eyes widened

 "Someone’s coming" Kankuro voiced my thoughts. But who?

 Two kunai flew past us and my eyes widened further. Sasuke? But then- what about-
