I think of you among the falling leaves
as they turn brown under the autumn sun
my mind filled with such summer memories
spent in your arms making my heart run
but the seasons changed
you departed my side
the summer sun set
as autumn moon arrived
I hear the leaves crunch underneath my feet
as I stroll paths we explored hand in hand
I feel the encroachment of winter's chill
that will cover my heart in snow and ice
