A Memory Redux
a passing glance
a quirky smile
a soft caress
a hinted beguile
the heat of tender contact
the respect of love's desire
the knowledge of another
the sharing of that fire
that rumpled linen plane
that nest of memory foam
that sheen of sated flesh
that sanctuary prone
all sensations concentrated
all thoughts of lust disposed
all energy abated
all senses now composed
and all the memories that still linger
. . .unopposed
