Silence engulfed the room, as she cried softly,
Once lively, she felt dejected now,
Nothing could be done, for past was past,
And it had come to haunt her, again,
Kissing and reopening, her unhealed wounds.
Sensing someone wrap their arms, she turned, and
Hugged, the only one she wanted the most by her side,
Instantly lifting her spirits, her past pushed away, for that moment of eternity.
