Valentines day! Aahh, love is in the air and it makes me want to barf.

I've always hated valentines day because I never really got the point of the holiday. I mean it's just a day to celebrate love and the boy gives you a rose and love letters and blah blah blah. You can do that every day so why only choose one day?

Today they were handing out roses in class and as usual I never received one but I kind of knew that I would never receive one in high school, well at least I think but im pretty sure no boy would like me.

There were some couples in the school and at interval and I saw one boy holding a girl in his arms because she was getting cold, I saw another boy reciting a poem to the love of his life and another boy gave a girl a small, cute teddy bear.

I guess I hated valentines day because it always reminded me of how it feels to be loved and how I've always wanted a boyfriend and to feel that way about someone but so much boys think I'm fat and hideous and some of them laugh at me and some tells it straight to my face so yeah, I don't think I'm good enough for anyone. ):    but lets get back to the story.

I completely forgot about the Valentines picnic for grade 8 & 9. I completely forgot so I left my swimwear at home like an idiot. I asked Ms. Lively if I could help her out with the picnic because I already told my mom that I'm going and I had no airtime to call her back.

After school the picnic began and was at the pool area. It was scorching hot and I was in the hot sun helping out. It was actually kind of fun setting up decorations, getting free ice cream and chocolate plus a free cool drink.

There were water slides, mrs and mr Valentine, music, free ice cream, cool drink and hot dogs and games. Well since I forgot my swimwear and it was so hot to stand with my friends, I just helped hand out ice cream and cool drinks. I think the only good part was when Eva pushed one of my classmates into the pool and I started laughing but at least I had a bit of fun.
