Ghost Girl

I sat down,
Instead of a smile, I had a frown.
I felt dead inside,
Even on the outside.

I am technically a ghost.
I want to be back to the host.
No one notices me,
Or hear my screams of wanting to be free.

I hate reliving my death.
All I ever see is an endless breath.
Then the car crashes.
And death comes with lashes.

But one day he came,
He even knew my name.
He heard my screams for help,
Or when my cries turned into yelps.

He saved me,
I finally was free.
I had life now,
All because He showed me how.

By love,
And sent me a dove.
I'm human now.
All because he allowed.

Thanks for reading this short poem that describes my life right now, except it was not love, but friendship that pulled me out of feeling invisible.
