A Diamond In the Rough

Sparkling, shimmering diamond light,
With a light shining oh so bright,
Will you keep your light tonight,
Sparkling, shimmering diamond light?

With a light to break through,
And a day to withstand,
You took the diamond in your hand,
And traveled the land.

The land calls to be home for you,
As you're finally broken through.
As the horse gallops to a beat,
The land is oh so sweet.

I've always called this land home,
And I'm a diamond in the rough on my road.
