○As days fade, and nights end○
{Bandit's P.O.V}
It's been almost a week and a half since my date with Asher. I haven't taken my necklace off (other than to shower, of course). I was walking home with Asher, Doug and Seth. We had a week off school for half term and I was so ready to ditch this place. But then again, a week of my drunken and depressed dad fixating on a single spot of wallpaper or a paint drip or the label of a beer bottle, wasting away day in, day out. Grieving his wife and unborn son like he has for almost thirteen years.I don't want that.
I don't need that.
It's like he's not even my dad.
Just Gerard Way.
Turns out I'd made my self tear up a little as apposed to being involved in the conversation around me.
"Bee?! Bee - earth to Bandit, hello. Anybody home?" Doug waved his hand in front of my face, walking backwards down the street.
I snapped out of my thoughts and quickly began to act like nothing had happened.
"Yeah, sorry just t-thinking." I stumbled.
"What about, what's going on?" Seth asked curiously.
"It doesn't matter, what were we talking about?" I shrugged it off but I could see Ash wasn't sure.
"Well Seth said that -" Doug began but my thoughts trailed off again. All three of them were arguing and Ash kept tightening his grip on my hand for a few seconds at a time gently.
I couldn't cope. My dad and me for a whole week. I just have to go. Get out of there.
Get out of there.
Get out of there!!
That's what I had to do, get myself out of that place! I've been living like this for too long. I need to fix myself up and that includes getting out of that damn house out of his damn feet!
The rest of the way home, that's what I was thinking. To get out, what I'd need, where I'd go.
Doug and Seth were going back to Asher's for a while. I declined the invite to join them and I left with a kiss from Ash and a "bye" from the others.
"Have fun, I'll talk to you later babe. Bye!" I yelled as i walked up the pathway to my house then went inside.
Gerard was passed out like always and instead of picking up the daily empties, I went straight to my room.
I threw my empty bag onto my bed and then went to my wardrobe to pull out a suitcase from the top shelf inside it.
Pack your bags Bee!
I started filling the suitcase with my clothes. Underwear, my Misfits T-shirt, Greenday hoodie, jack the skeleton tops, other hoodies and other merch t-shirts. Pyjamas that were pretty much all nightmare before christmas and a few other random ones that were dark red or blue made their way into my bag ontop of the pile forming with in. Next were the dresses. I only have two so it wasn't all that hard, the dress I wore on the date and my Nightmare Before Christmas dress I wore sometimes. My toiletries went in and then all my other stuff like my spare set of headphones, my straighteners, my hairdryer, my hairbrush, phone charger and my laptop.
As I began looking for anything else I needed, I spotted Harry. Harry was a stuffed giraffe my Uncle Mikey gave me when I was born, it was my favourite toy. I used to take him with me everywhere and I'd ask mom and dad to buy things so I could dress him up.
I walked to the shelf he sat on and picked him up, gently rubbing the dust from him. I kissed the top of its head in an attempt to slow down, to slow down from the rush i was feeling to get out of here.
