○Think happy thoughts○

It has been like 5 days since we got back from the hospital and that night Frank and Jamia let me stay over, providing I stay on the floor and Bandit stays on the sofa; they were pretty stern about that. The two of us talked for hours upon hours about hopeless cr*p and loving care, hopes and dreams and our childhood days.

Doug, Seth and I went into town yesterday so Seth could get new comics while Doug wanted new records and I wanted more band t's. Plus, we all decided to grab Bandit a gift for her birthday coming up on Friday; today being Tuesday. Doug had got her a collection of wristbands for a bunch of bands she listens to while Seth got her some comics and a set of steampunk goggles she'd apparently shown him. Me, I bought her a new set of knee high converse and a black, long sleeved jumper/top (picture above: I'm no good at explaining this stuff) and a small, armour style ear cuff.

Frank and Jamia were having a mini party for her turning 16 with me, the boys and her family minus her 'father'.

"Hey, so, what are her family like?" Seth broke my thoughts as we headed to a little pizza place.

"They're pretty cool, but they're seriously protective over her especially her uncles Frank and Mikey. I feel like on a personality level, you two would get on great with them." I explained smirking on the last bit.

"Is Leela gonna be there?" Doug asked with slight anger in his tone.

"No. She's not." I told him as we went inside the pizza place we'd just arrived at and began to order.

"So, I know you told us not to talk about it, but . . . what happened to her at the hospital."

"D-o-u-g! "  I groaned.

"Ash, she's our friend too. C'mon." Seth shrugged.

"Can we just wait for the pizza and talk about something else?" I more like told them that's what were doing.

"Just wait for the pizza." Doug mutterd, a smirk forming quickly on his stupid face.

There was like 5 minutes of silence until our order number was called out and we collected our pizza and drinks then found a booth to sit at since everywhere else was pretty full.

"So, we have the pizza, we have the drinks, we're sat down, now tell us." Doug broke the silence taking a slice of meat feast pizza and shoving in to his fat gob.

"You guys aren't gonna drop this are you? " I groaned following suit along with Seth who just simply smiled and shook his head.

I then explained everything, from the call I got from her cousin up until when Frank punched the wall and left.

"Holy mother of f*ck!" Doug practically yelled earning glares of pretty much everyone in here.

"Dude, shut up!" Seth hissed at him. "Why would she think like that? She's beautiful and amazing and a great friend and-" he was cut off by Doug digging his elbow into his ribs.

"I know that and you guys know that but for some f*cked up reason, she doesn't." I answered taking a sip from my soda.

"Hold up a minute, she cuts?" Doug stutterd dropping his slice on the plate infront of him while Seth stared intently at the edge of the pizza box. All I could do was hang my head low and slightly nod for them.

"F*ck." Seth whispered.

The rest of the day we were pretty much holding this long, painful silence minimising all words to mumbles and grunts.

((I really want pizza now 😣 🍕))

{Frank's P.O.V}
"Okay so we've got, Asher, Doug, Seth -" Jamia began checking over the guest list for Bandit's birthday thing on Friday.

"Who the hell are they?" I interrupted confused as heck.

"Her friends Frank. So, Asher, Doug, Seth, Ray, Christa and son, Mikey, Kristin and daughter♤, Donna and Don, and the 5 of usAnyone else?"

"Lindsey's parents?" I questionably suggested.

"True but, we have no contact with them and I'm not sure Bandit really does either." She explained flicking a pen between two of her fingers and letting it beat off of the pad like a drum.

"How about the MSI guys?" Cherry suggested from the other side of the room.

I gave a slight look of 'do we have to?' and she frowned after seeing my expression. "Dad, I love you but this isn't your party. It's for Bandit and if it means she has a chance to be happy on Friday without any of her actual family then I'd invite them." She explained lying along the coach with her phone infront of her face.

"She has a point Frankie." Jamia spoke gently.

"Okay. The Fall out Boy guys? I think they're in town for a gig anyways so they can swing by." I mutterd finishing off with a smile.

"Yup!" Jamia answered popping the P as she scribbled on the list.

"Now, what about Uncle Gee?" Cherry piped up again.

"What do you mean hunny?" Jamia asked calmly, more then I would have done if you ask me, that son of a -

"He is her dad which makes him family." Cherry spoke with the determination to get us to see her point.

"Yeah some dad to be a drunken pr*ck who practically isolates his daughter right after the death of her mom and baby brother and never has the care to notice when something was wrong even when it was staring him right in the face!" I spat angrily.

"Frank." Jamia called with anger in her voice.

"All im saying is that it's her birthday and he is all she really has left. It won't be too much longer before we just can't help her anymore as much as none of us want that day to come. He at least deserves this chance and hey, if it doesn't work out- we'll cross that bridge if and when we come to it." She explained still hiding behind her phone.

"Frank, baby? What do you think?" Jamia asked her voice gentle and soft.

"No. No, he doesn't deserve another chance!" I would have continued but I was cut off by a now sort of p***ed but trying to hide it, Jamia.

"Frankie, let's head back to the glory days of My Chem for a miute, okay? That band made a difference. You helped Gerard get through a lot of cr*p with his drinking and his depression and his drug addiction and after that,he was able to help a lot more people with the music you guys made. The only people who can really help her now is either a trained councilor, which I doubt any one of us want to put her through, or him. Cherry is right; were running out of ways we can try and help and if we give him this chance she always has the option to try someone else or come back to us. Her birthday might just be the perfect chance for him to pull his finger out and step up." She explained.

"I just don't want to see her hurt again okay, you saw how she was on Lindsey's Birthday and you know how much the end of next month is going to suck for her."

"I know Frankie." Jamia whispered sorrowfully.

"Dad, it'll be okay." Cherry spoke up again full of sympathy finally taking her phone away from her face.

"Okay but how about we keep Friday just for her birthday and instead we'll have Gerard over on Saturday." I suggested.

"Sure. No one tell her though, okay?" Jamia smiled in reply as both Cherry and I nodded eagerly; we couldn't tell Bandit her dad was coming - no way could she know until he was really here and ready to hear him out.

It's cool, I made pizza for lunch 😄🍕

⚠☆IMPORTANT QUESTION: does anybody know the name of Ray's son? He just sorta happened and theres hardly any info about him that I've found.

♤At the time of writing, the baby isn't even born yet so it's just and daughter for now but when we have news, I will change it.

incase you don't remember, the first chapter says that Lindsey died on the 23rd of June.
